Arya Babbar Reveals Dad, Raj Babbar's Reaction To Not Being Invited To Prateik's Wedding, 'Mard...'

Prateik Babbar got married to the love of his life, Priya Banerjee on February 14, 2025, at Smita Patil's home. The couple's dreamy wedding photos have left everyone swooned. While everyone was congratulating the happy couple, the Babbar family's absence from the wedding raised eyebrows. Following this, Arya Babbar expressed his hurt over not being invited to Prateik's wedding. On the other hand, Priya said all the family members who matter to them were present at the wedding. After this, Arya revealed his father, Raj Babbar's reaction to not being invited to Prateik's wedding.

Arya Babbar has been taking digs at Prateik Babbar not inviting him, Raj Babbar, and Juhi Babbar to his wedding. He recently posted a reel on his IG handle. In the standup comedy video, Arya revealed that he had asked his father, Raj Babbar what he should say when he would be questioned in the media about why he didn't attend his brother's wedding, just the way in childhood he would have to face questions about his father's link-up buzz.

Arya further shared his father, Raj Babbar's reply. He said that his dad asked him to say that men often continue to get married. He further took a dig and stated that his father had married twice, and so did Prateik, and even his pet dog has two girlfriends. Arya Babbar can be heard saying:

"Main bolta hoon papa lekin agar media wale kal poochenge – jaise bachpan main poochte the aapko kaisa lag raha hai aapke papa ka affair chal raha hai – aapko kaisa lag raha hai aapki bhai ki shaadi hai aap nahi ja rahe? Toh main kya boloonga? Toh voh bolte hain, ‘Sahi bol rahe ho… Bol dena ki mard toh shaadi karte rehte hain."

Earlier, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Arya Babbar talked about Prateik not inviting him and his family to the wedding. He stated that it was understandable that Prateik didn't want Nadira, him, and Juhi to be part of his wedding, but not inviting his father, Raj seemed to be a bit 'disrespectful' even to the late actress, Smita Patil. When asked if he had tried reaching out to Prateik after his wedding, Arya said that it didn't matter as the newly married actor had been dodging their calls for a long time. He added that his WhatsApp DP still features Pretaik, and he wishes only the best for the newlywed couple. Arya stated that it was a big step in life without their parents' blessings, and they had no idea about Prateik's marriage.

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Priya Banerjee was asked about not inviting family to her and Prateik's wedding. Priya said that she didn't know why these rumours were arousing as each of the family members, who mattered to them, were present at the wedding. She added that her parents, Prateik's grandparents, and aunts were a part of their wedding, and there was no one from the family who was not invited.
