Arya Badai Gets Engaged To Fellow 'Bigg Boss' Alum, DJ Sibin, Calls It 'The Best Unplanned Thing'

Malayalam television actress and former Bigg Boss Malayalam 2 contestant, Arya Babu, popularly known as Arya Badai, recently announced a happy upgrade to her life. The Badai Bungalow fame just got engaged to her best friend and long-time partner, Sibin Benjamin, one of the most sought-after Malayalam wedding DJs. The elated couple shared this beautiful life update in a couple of Instagram posts shared collaboratively at their respective handles.

Recently, Arya Badai and Sibin Benjamin took to Instagram to share a joint post announcing the big announcement of putting a ring on their years-long relationship. In a heartfelt collaborative post with Sibin, Arya wrote a long note describing the happiness she feels to embark on this new journey with her fiance, expressing gratitude to him for being her strongest support system and the ‘best daddy’ to her daughter. A part of her note can be read as:

“Happily Engaged to @sibin_reng. From best friends to companions for life…Life took the most unbelievable and the most beautiful turn with one simple question and the quickest decision I have ever made in my entire life. Undoubtedly, this is the best unplanned thing ever happened to me… Thank you for being my biggest support system, for being the calm to all my chaos, for being the shoulder that I peacefully lean on, for being the best daddy to our daughter, for being the best of the best friends to me and Khushi, for being the rock to our whole family. I finally feel COMPLETE.. My heart and my mind have finally found the pleasure of being in PEACE.. And I have found my HOME in your arms..”

For those unaware, Arya was previously married to Rohit Suseelan and had a daughter, Khushi, before they separated through a divorce in 2018, ending their ten-year marriage. Later, she fell in love with popular wedding DJ, Sibin, and the duo have been together for years. While the couple mostly kept their relationship private, they officially announced their engagement. Sharing how Sibin was the man of her dreams, Arya’s note continued:

“Meet my ‘right person at the right time’... Meet Khushi’s fav person, whom now she lovingly calls “Daddy”… I love you to the eternity and beyond !! Thank you for making me yours with all my flaws and my perfections… I am gonna hold onto you so tight until my last breath, no matter what !!!! And that’s a promise … Life is giving us another chance and we are not gonna let this one go!!!! So, my people, let’s start prepping now as we have a WEDDING just around the corner!!!!!!!!!”

Shortly after Arya’s Instagram post, her fiance, Sibin, also shared the same photo to announce their engagement. In the slightly blurred yet heartwarming picture, the couple is seen sharing a joyful moment; Arya lovingly gazes at Sibin as they embrace each other. Sharing the picture, Sibin also penned an emotional note, proudly presenting his ‘calm in chaos’, Arya, whom he lovingly calls ‘Chokki’. Like Arya, Sibin too has a son, Ryan, from his first marriage. Addressing the excitement of being the proud father of both Ryan and Khushi, Sibin wrote:

“I have made many wrong decisions in life — ones that often left me lost and broken. But through every storm, there was one constant — a person who stood by me, without a single complaint, without judgment, and without conditions. That's her — my best friend, @arya.badai… And hence, I made the easiest decision of my life — to stay, to love, to cherish, and to grow with her forever. I proudly present to you my best friend, my calm in chaos, my laughter in silence, my comfort — my Chokki… With all my heart, I am gonna start to write a never-ending story with my Chokki, my son Ryan, and my daughter Khushi. Thank you, God, for giving me my forever.”
