Shah Rukh Khan got married to Gauri Khan in 1991, and it was in 1997 that they welcomed their first child, Aryan Khan, into their lives. Soon after that, in 2000, SRK and Gauri were blessed with their daughter, Suhana Khan. The family was completed after the arrival of SRK and Gauri's little one, AbRam. Cut to now, all three of their kids are grown up. For the unversed, Shah Rukh Khan's daughter, Suhana already stepped into Bollywood with Zoya Akhtar's movie, The Archies. On the other hand, Aryan Khan didn't follow in the path of his father and ventured his career into directing. For those who chipped in late, Aryan Khan is all set to show his screenwriting and directing skills with his web series, Stardom.
Earlier, a lot of details about Aryan Khan's series, Stardom made rounds in the media. And now, an interesting piece of news surfaced in the media that can leave one's jaw-dropped. As per a recent report by Bollywood Life, Aryan Khan's directorial, Stardom will portray the story of a young Delhi boy who has big dreams to reach to the top-notch level of the industry, thereby achieving 'Stardom'. An insider told the portal that the story of Stardom will remind the viewers about the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan's journey in the industry. Well, what can be more interesting than to witness a doting son like Aryan crafting his dad's story through his first-ever project? The source added:
"Aryan Khan's Stardom will showcase the journey of a boy from Delhi who has big dreams to achieve it in the film industry. The journey of a young man will show the ups and downs that he goes through to achieve this Stardom. And this story might make you instantly remind of superstar Shah Rukh Khan's journey and who better a son to narrate his story".

In the same interview, the insider also mentioned that it cannot be determined that the story will be entirely based on Shah Rukh Khan's real life. The source also added that the project will not be SRK's biopic, but the viewers can find bits and pieces of the actor's life through the character of the young Delhi boy. The source can be quoted as saying:
"Having said that it cannot be surely can say that the entire web series is based on Shah Rukh Khan's life journey. It's no biopic. But definitely in bits and pieces, you will get to see the insights of this young Delhi boy."
Earlier, a report by TellyChakkar stated that Stardom would feature Bobby Deol, which the actor slyly confirmed during the promotion of Animal while mentioning that he has a good bond with Red Chillies. However, the same report also mentioned that Ranbir Kapoor would make a cameo in the series, while Lakshya Lalwani would play the lead role in the series. Another report also suggested that Stardom would be a Tinseltown comedy, thereby reflecting the light on the day-to-day lives and emotional and artistic challenges of the actors.

Earlier, a report by Koimoi mentioned that Shah Rukh Khan wanted to be a part of his son, Aryan Khan's directorial debut, Stardom, which the latter declined for a specific reason. A close source revealed that Aryan said 'no' to his dad's appearance in his directorial debut because he didn't want to fall prey to comments like 'privileged' at this early of his career. The youngster also reportedly turned down a huge budget of Rs. 120 crores from OTT giants because he had no intention to sell his unfinished product, while the OTT giants were up to sign the series for its follow-up seasons even while season 1 was not ready.
