The Indian music industry had lost one of its most prized possession on February 6, 2022, when legendary singer, Lata Mangeshkar had passed away after fighting against the deadly disease, COVID-19 for days. The singer had ruled the music industry for many decades and was one of the greatest singers in the history of world music. Lata Mangeshkar's demise had shocked the entire nation, and even to this very day, it's incredibly hard to digest the brutal fact that she is no longer with us. However, her songs continue to bring happiness and joy to billion of people out there.
Lata Mangeshkar's sister, Asha Bhosle was quite close to her, and the former's demise had shocked her to the core of her heart. When Lata Mangeshkar had left for the heavenly abode, it was her sister, Asha Bhosle, who was left devastated by the news and had taken some weeks to deal with the loss.

In the upcoming episode of the popular dance reality show, Dance India Dance Little Masters, the legendary singer, Asha Bhosle will appear as a special guest on the show. On April 23, 2022, a promo was released on Instagram from the show's makers, and it featured an emotional Asha Bhosle as she remembered her late sister, Lata Mangeshkar. The doting sister shared that five-six months before her demise, Lata Mangeshkar had told her to ask for any present. On this, Asha Bhosle had asked for an old saree from the late singer and also asked her didi to sign it. Not only this, Asha Bhosle was carrying the same saree with her and flaunted it with a big smile. Recalling the same, Asha Bhosle said:
"Aaj se 5-6 mahine pehle didi ne merko bola, maang le, aaj tu Lata Mangeshkar se maang le kuch bhi. I asked for her old saree signed by her. Ye saree duniya ki daulat se merko badi hai.”
A few days back, the show's makers had dropped a video from the upcoming episode on Zee TV's official IG handle, in which we could see Asha Bhosle entering the show's stage and touching her late sister, Lata Mangeshkar's photo with a handful of rose petals. In the video, we had also got a glimpse of the performance from two contestants, who had portrayed Asha Bhosle and Lata Mangeshkar's roles in the voice-over that could be heard saying, "Lata didi jab tak aap ka sath hai mere jeewan mein rangon ki barsaat hai." As soon as the performance had ended, Asha Bhosle could be seen a bit teary-eyed. She had also said in the promo:
"Meri didi gayi hai abhi lekin phir bhi mere sath hai."

A day after the demise of iconic singer, Lata Mangeshkar, her doting sister and veteran singer, Asha Bhosle had dropped a fond memory of herself and her late sister. It was on February 7, 2022, when Asha Bhosle had shared a monochrome picture on her IG handle. In the priceless picture, the two sisters could be seen sitting side by side as they posed for the camera. While sharing the picture, Asha Bhosle had also dedicated a few lines to her late sister, Lata Mangeshkar, in the caption. Asha Bhosle's note in the caption could be read as:
