Asha Negi surely knows how to handle trolls like a boss and she was lauded for giving a befitting reply to an Instagrammer, who called her buddhi. Sharing a picture of herself, standing next to an old house that had wrinkled walls, Asha had added the screenshot of a comment, which had read, "Matlab buddhi hogai shaadi karlo yaar tum se diwaar jawan hey." Replying to the troll in a dignified manner, applauding her 'sick' sense of humour, Asha had captioned the post as “When it’s a case of cyber bullying but the case is too on point!! Dost humour ke 100 points magar is soch ka kya karein."
Once co-stars turned madly-in-love couple, Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi, who had met each other during the show, Pavitra Rishta, had parted ways in 2020, leaving the hearts of their fans broken. Though Rithvik and Asha had called it quits in their relationship, seeing them being cordial with each other post-breakup is surely a delight! In an interview with SpotboyE, when Asha was asked if she is ready to give love a second chance or not, she replied, “I don't think I am ready right now and I think I owe some time to myself.”
Revealing if she gets affected by the trolls and the reason why she goes for social media detox, Asha Negi said, “Gone are the days when I used to get affected by trolls and the hate tweets and comments they used to post. I did get affected initially but not anymore as I know they just want to play with your mind. They don't have anything better to do. So, they just make fake profiles and start trolling you and keep commenting stupid things. Let me clear this, I don't go for social media detox because of the trolls. Too much on social media also sometimes affects your life and you need to take a break from that. It's very important. In August, we had seen an example of exes being friends as Rithvik Dhanjani had wished his former ladylove, Asha Negi on her birthday. Sharing an accurate depiction of Asha celebrating her special day in 2020, Rithvik had taken a pun on the birthday girl chilling with herself. In his birthday wish, Rithvik had written, “An accurate depiction of your birthday celebration in 2020… You are the epitome of self love and grace negi! To be able to love yourself like you do is the truest form of being. In an interview with Aaj Tak, Asha Negi had confirmed her breakup with Rithvik Dhanjani and had revealed that she has no hard feelings for him. Asha had said, "All I want to say is that we are trying our best at whatever place we are now and in whatever state we are in our lives. To give our best and both are working on themselves. I can say from my side that I do not have any hard feelings about Rithvik. I am sure there will be no hard feelings from Rithvik either.
