Ashish Kapoor's Arrest For Rape And Assault, Victim Says She Was Threatened And Her Drink Was Spiked

Television actor, Ashish Kapoor is leading the headlines for all the wrong reasons. As per multiple reports, he was arrested in connection with alleged rape and assault charges. A case was registered against the actor at the Civil Lines police station in Delhi. The news of the actor’s arrest has sent his fans into shock and disbelief.

Ashish Kapoor faces rape and assault charges

According to the FIR, the complainant alleged that the incident occurred in the second week of August during a house party in Delhi. She alleged that Ashish, along with two others, raped and assaulted her. Initially, the woman mentioned Ashish and the names of two other individuals; however, she later revised parts of her statement, accusing only Ashish.

After the FIR was registered on August 11, 2025, the police began searching for Ashish, and the actor was subsequently held in Pune. An investigation is underway and the officials are probing all the possible angles related to the case.

The victim revealed that her drink was spiked by Ashish Kapoor

There have been many shocking allegations made by the victim against actor, Ashish Kapoor. The woman revealed that she met Ashish on Instagram and he invited her to a friend’s place for a party. She alleged that her drink was spiked by the actor, as after consuming it, she felt disoriented. In the disoriented state, she was taken to the washroom by Ashish and his two friends. She was raped and assaulted there.

The victim in her complaint reportedly alleged that it was Ashish and his friend who raped her, and a woman had hit her. Ashish's friend and his wife were later granted anticipatory bail. Not just this, the victim also stated that the actor threatened to leak her video if she went to the police. According to police officials, the CCTV footage shows Ashish and the woman entering the bathroom. After some moments, his friends and other guests knocked on the door, and soon an argument broke out.

Ashish Kapoor gained name and fame in the telly world with Waaris and Star Plus Show, Saraswatichandra. He was also seen in other shows like Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage, Chand Chupa Badal Mein, Dekha Ek Khwaab, Molkki Rishton Ki Agnipariksha, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Woh Apna Sa, and Bandini. He got engaged to producer Pearl Grey in 2021 and was all set to get married. However, soon the couple parted ways, and as per multiple reports, the breakup wasn’t on good terms.
