Salman Khan hosted reality show, Bigg Boss 19, has been making a lot of headlines because of its fights and statements made by a few contestants. One of the contestants, Kunickaa Sadanand, recently has been grabbing attention for her hurtful statements against fellow contestants like Tanya Mittal, Ashnoor Kaur and more. The Patiala Babes actress, in one of the latest episodes, slammed Kunickaa and gave her a befitting response.
In one of the earlier episodes, Kunickaa had called Ashnoor Kaur chant (clever). Recently, in one of the latest episodes, Ashnoor gave it back to her and mentioned that the way Kunickaa is questioning the upbringing of other contestants only because they don’t know how to cook, is completely wrong and is not what feminism is. Ashnoor went on to call her a fake feminist. In her words:
"I wanted to become like you. Aap ne mujhe chant kaha tha just because mera koi dost bhooka na soye. Aur fir uss time pe aapne react kiya tha ki yeh parvarish ka sawal nahi hai. Aur aaj aap hi ek dusre ki parvarish pe sawal utha rahe ho, aur feminist hone ke baad bhi keh rahe ho ki ek ladki ke sanskaar is baat se tair hote hain ki usse khana banana aata hai ya nahi. Yeh feminism nahi, balki nakli feminism hai. Iss desh mein bohot si ladkiyan hain jinko khana banana nahi aata, lekin iska matlab yeh nahi ki unke sanskaar kam hain. Sanskaar sirf kitchen se nahi aate."
Since a while, housemates have been going against Kunickaa Sadanand as she keeps on questioning the upbringing of her fellow contestants. Recently, during the nomination task, she mentioned Tanya Mittal’s upbringing, which left the influencer in tears. Later, Tanya also discussed this with other contestants and all of them were triggered listening to that. Kunickaa had told Tanya:
"Basic chizen aapki maa ne aapko nahi sikhaya."

Kunickaa’s statement not only received backlash inside the house, but the viewers watching the show also left that, she crossed a line by bringing Tanya’s upbringing, just because the influencer can’t cook. Amid all the backlash, her son, Ayaan Lal, came in support. Earlier, in the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Ayaan had joined Salman Khan on stage and spoken about Kunickaa’s struggles. In an interview with News18 Showsha, Ayaan mentioned that his mother believes cooking is a life skill. He also explained that inside the house, things are supposed to get dirty. In his words:
"What my mom meant was I didn’t have the money to have a maid. Cooking is a life skill. Of course, if you don’t know how to cook, it’s not a bad thing. If you know how to cook, that’s also not a bad thing. But you need to see that two different worlds are colliding, and this is a house; things will get dirty."
