Ashutosh Gowariker is a well-known Indian film director, actor, screenwriter and producer, who is famous for directing some of the best Bollywood movies such as Lagaan, Swades, Jodha Akbar, and others. In his personal life, he is married to Deb Mukherjee's daughter, Sunita, and they have two sons, Konark and Vishwang. Well, recent reports suggested the arrival of a happy occasion at Ashutosh Gowariker's home, as his elder son is all set to get married within a few days.
As per a recent report by Pinkvilla, Ashutosh Gowariker and Sunita's elder son, Konark is all set to tie the knot on March 2, 2025. Reportedly, he is going to get married to Niyati Kanakia. Niyati Kanakia is the daughter of real estate developer, Rasesh Babubhai Kanakia.
Konark Gowariker's IG is filled with cute posts and revelations about his and Niyati's adorable bond. They also have a separate IG, which seems to have been holding the snippets from their relationship. Konark has taken to his IG handle and re-shared the stories from that profile, which featured some IG poll games regarding his upcoming wedding with Niyati. A video, which Konark dropped we could see that the preparations have been going on in full swing. Well, it was the bio of Niyati and Konark's joint profile, that left us in awe. The bio reads:
"The official account capturing the final stages of @konarkgowariker’s master plan to con @niyatikanakia into a serious and committed relationship!"
Taking to his IG handle, Konark Gowariker dropped a post, wherein he and Niyati were seen all decked up in traditional wear. In the follow-up posts, it was seen that the couple was practising a dance, well, it was Niyati who got hurt. However, the adorable way Konark has presented the small yet magical moments with Niyati on his IG speaks volumes about how much the couple is meant to be with each other. In the post, Konark revealed that Niyati wanted to have an adventure, but they are getting married in a few days.
Konark Gowariker graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in film direction and cinematography from Boston's Emerson College in 2012, after completing his studies at Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai. In 2013, Konark started his career as he joined Ashutosh Gowariker Productions as an assistant director. He assisted his father in the movies like Everest and Mohenjo Daro.

Konark also co-produced AGPPL's Toolsidas Junior, which won the Best Picture (Hindi) award at the 64th Indian National Film Awards. Konark also directed some online commercials for some Ayurvedic brands. Talking about his son, Ashutosh said that while Konark was assisting him in Mohenjo Daro, he witnessed that his son had his own ideas on how to set up the camera and compose frames, and he is passionate about filmmaking. Talking more about his son, Ashutosh said:
"Konark has assisted me in Mohenjo Daro. He is passionate about filmmaking and seems to have his own ideas on how to set up the camera and compose frames. I hope, one day, he directs films that would be very different from my work."
We cannot wait for the glimpses of Konark and Niyati's wedding, which is seemingly going to be a blast!
