After the show, Asim and Himanshi started dating. However, in 2023, they announced their separation due to a difference of religious beliefs. Recently, Abu Malik talked about their separation.
Recently, in an interview with Times Now, Abu Malik revealed that he heard about Asim Riaz and Himanshi Khurana's separation at Arti Singh's wedding. He added that Asim used to impose a lot on Himanshi about what she should or shouldn't do. Abu stated that he heard about all this during Arti's wedding festivities. He stated that Himanshi had her own career to build up, so, it would have become a problem in their relationship.

Abu stated that Asim is a nice person, but he wants everybody to be there for him as if they owe him something. The singer further stated that people from the acting fraternity should not date unless they are ready to accept each other. He added that religion could be another issue, but it won't be the only reason.
On December 7, 2023, Asim took to his Instagram handle and shared a note on his IG handle. He shared that they have decided to part ways as they have different religious beliefs. Asim added that they are adults and can make their own decisions. He further accepted that he had told Himanshi to reveal the truth behind their separation.

After announcing her separation from Asim, Himanshi leaked her chats with her ex on social media platform, X. In the screenshot of their WhatsApp chat, Himanshi wrote, "You said I did", and Asim replied, "Sahi hai." He further added that she should also write the reason about their breakup. To which, Himanshi replied that she had mentioned it, but deleted it later, thinking he might get trolled.
On December 6, 2023, Himanshi confirmed that she is no longer with Asim. She penned a note and revealed that their journey together ended and their relationship was amazing, but due to their religious differences, they have decided to end it, while they are still in love. She had written:
"YES, we are not together anymore, All the time we have spent together has been great but our togetherness comes to an end Now. The journey of our relationship was great and we are moving forward in our lives. With due respect to our respective religions, we are sacrificing our love for our different religious beliefs. We request you to respect our privacy."
