Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the most loved and one of the longest running TV serials in India. Recently, the show was in headlines as there were rumours around Dilip Joshi (who plays 'Jethalal') and Munmum Dutta (who plays 'Babita') have left the show because they are not present in the current episodes of the show. But, the producer of the show, Asit Kumarr Modi recently addressed those rumours and put them to rest, which brought a smile on the face of fans who were just hoping for those rumours to be false.
Asit Kumarr Modi recently addressed the rumours around Dilip Joshi and Munmum Dutta quitting the show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. He called those rumours baseless and clearly said that they were not true at all. Nobody is leaving the show. He explained that their recent absence is because of their personal reasons or not anything related to the show. He said:
"Kuch nahi hai, sab log hamari team ka part hai. Kuch unke personal reasons the to us time nahi the. To aise koi baat nahi hai."
Apart from addressing the rumours related to the two actors, Asit Kumarr Modi also spoke on social media and said that social media has become pretty negative nowadays. He expressed his disappointment on what social media has become and also associated it with a positive show like his. He spoke about his show being all about positive thinking but people on social media are associating it with negativity. In his words:
"Aapko maloom hai aaj ka social media kaisa hai? Social media itna negative ho chuka hai ki aap positive soch rakhni chahiye. Aur Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah ekdum positive show hai. Family show hai, khushiyan deta hai. To uske baare mein to kuch logon ko positive sochne rakhni chahiye. Yeh nahi ki kuch bhi chhoti-chhoti baaton par kuch bhi rumour faila do, kuch bhi anachahiye baat kar lo. Woh achhi baat nahi hai."
When Asit Kumarr Modi was asked about the story going slow sometimes, he answered it very cleverly and said that the show comes six days in a week and viewers want the climax quickly so they complain about episodes being dragged, but he cleared it and said, that’s not true at all. He also spoke about the value he gives to his audience. He said that his audience means a lot to him and whenever he happens to meet any fan and if they talk about any particular storyline, Asit Kumarr Modi always takes it in a positive manner. He stated:
“Jo darshak hai... jab mujhe koi personal milte hain aur kuch bhi show par kuch kahaniyon ki baat karte hain, to main unko bahut positively leta hoon. Kyunki darshak hi hamara hai sab kuch. Show unki khushiyon ke liye bana hai.”
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of India’s longest-running and most loved sitcoms in India. It started in 2008 and since then the fans don't want it to end. The show is based on the popular Gujarati column, 'Duniya Ne Undha Chashma'. The show is created and produced by Asit Kumarr Modi and it revolves around the lives of people living in Gokuldham society. The central character, 'Jethalal' (played by Dilip Joshi), often finds himself in problematic situations which are comical for the audience. The show is known for its clean humour, social messages and family-friendly theme. Despite multiple cast changes, the show still has a loyal fan base who prefer this show over anything else.
