Atheist Krishna, Photoshop Artist Who Made PM Modi Smile With His Hilarious Edits, Passed Away

Popular Photoshop artist and content creator, Atheist Krishna's sudden demise has once again reminded the world how fragile the gift of life is. The artist, known for his humour-driven memes, passed away due to pneumonia on July 23, 2025. The skilled artist's passing has left his followers in shock as condolences poured in from other influencers.

Atheist Krishna passed away due to pneumonia

According to a social media user, Atheist Krishna has messaged him sharing about his health condition. It was on July 10, 2025, when the Photoshop artist shared that he had pneumonia. He revealed that his lungs were filled with water, and there was some infection as well. Krishna also shared a picture of his IV-poked hand with the person.

However, after 13 days of relentless battle and treatment, the artist passed away. It was Krishna's brother who texted the person informing of the ill-fated incident. The note revealed that Krishna passed away on July 23, 2025, at 4:30 am. The user shared the screenshots of the same on X and penned a note which read:

"Woke up to the terrible news of @Atheist_Krishna passing away. He was one of the kindest people I met on this platform. On 10th July, he told me he was unwell and needs to be operated. He caught pneumonia. At that time, he said, 'It would be a miracle if I survive this.'I couldn't stop thinking about it. Just yesterday, I couldn't wait and pinged him..Gone too soon."

Netizens react to Atheist Krishna's passing

Soon, the post was filled with condolences from across the country. A person penned, "This is shocking. He was so kind. Once I had requested that he photoshop my grandma's picture, as her last years were spent in bandages, and I wished to have a family picture without the bandages. He immediately helped. He looked pretty young to leave. Om Shanti." Another wrote, "Arey yaar, this is so shocking. He was one of the real Twitter OG." A comment read, "This is so shocking, I don't want to accept it." A user wrote, "This is so heartbreaking. Such a kind soul full of life and joy. Our Twitter journey began almost simultaneously, and we have known each other ever since. Just praying to Mahadev and Maa Adi Shakti to grant his soul mukti."

Atheist Krishna once made Prime Minister, Narendra Modi smile with his edits

Krishna originally hailed from Odisha. However, he later shifted bases to Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad. He rose to popularity after a spoof video of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi dancing on stage before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, which was proudly shared by the Prime Minister himself on X. The video's likeness was superimposed over the video of American rapper, Lil Yachty making a stage entrance. PM shared the video with the caption:

"Like all of you, I also enjoyed seeing myself dance. Such creativity in peak poll season is truly a delight! #PollHumour."

Akshay Kumar also praised Atheist Krishna for his work. The actor reshared the edit made by Krishna and encouraged his skills. He lauded his mind and creativity while sharing his edit of PM Modi. He penned:

"I showed one of your memes to our Prime Minister Narendra Modi and he also had a hearty laugh… Keep bringing a smile to people's faces with your clean and honest humour. You will receive many blessings. Keep it up."
