Indian cricketer, Kannanur Lokesh Rahul, aka KL Rahul, and actress, Athiya Shetty tied the knot on January 23, 2023, at the latter's father, Suniel Shetty's bungalow in Khandala. The couple took the saat pheras in the presence of their close friends and family members. The newlyweds, KL Rahul and Athiya looked stunning together in their respective regal ensembles.
The bride, Athiya Shetty ditched the traditional red lehenga and opted for a pink-hued lehenga designed by Anamika Khanna. Following the trend of donning pastel hues, Athiya made for a perfect bride in her wedding trousseau. The bride donned a chikankari wedding lehenga on her D-Day and looked elegant. Pairing her lehenga with a full-sleeved blouse, Athiya complemented her look with heavy jewellery, which included a stone-encrusted neckpiece, matching earrings, and a maang teeka. Opting for a dewy makeup look, she tied her hair in a bun.

Athiya Shetty looked every bit exquisite in her wedding lehenga, courtesy of the designer, Anamika Khanna, who left no stone unturned to create this beautiful outfit for her. Athiya's silk lehenga is entirely handmade, handwoven, and adorned with zardozi and jaali work. On the other hand, her veil and dupatta, which amped up her look, are made of silk organza. It took almost 10000 hours to create this fine piece for Athiya, as the artists spent 416 days to make the elegant wedding lehenga, which livened up the rather quiet wedding.
While Athiya Shetty's bridal look became the talk of the town, her customised kaleeras won everybody's hearts. Unlike other brides who opt for multi-layered gold kaleeras, Athiya picked the dainty ones and added her personal touch to them. Her kaleeras were beautifully adorned with sun and star trinkets, which perfectly complemented her heavily-embroidered pastel-hued chikankari lehenga.
