Atul Subhash, a 34-year-old Bengaluru techie, committed suicide after being harassed by his wife, Nikita Singhania. His demise has left everyone in shock. For the unversed, Atul has left behind a 24-page suicide note, wherein he claimed his wife, Nikita, to be the 'explicit instigator' of his suicide. Atul took this drastic step as he failed to find a solid solution against the corrupt legal system that supported his wife, Nikita Singhania, who allegedly filed 9 false cases against the late Bengaluru techie.
It was a few days after Atul Shubhash's suicide when Nikita Singhania was detained by the police. She was using WhatsApp to connect with her acquaintances, but it was one of her normal phone calls to her relative that helped the police to track her location and arrest her. Not only Nikita, but her mother, Nisha, and brother, Anurag were taken under judicial custody. For the unversed, Atul, in his suicide note, claimed how his estranged wife harassed him to the very last point that he had to take this drastic step. Now, as per a report by ANI, Bengaluru's City Civil Court has granted bail to Atul's wife, Nikita Singhania, and his mother-in-law, Nisha, and brother-in-law, Anurag.
For those who don't know, Atul Subhash was a Bengaluru techie who took the drastic step of ending his life. It was Nikita, who herself was employed by Accenture as a senior AI consultant and had a package in lakhs per annum. However, amid the couple's legal marital tassel was going on, Nikita reportedly asked for Rs. 3 crore alimony along with Rs. 40K for the monthly maintenance. Not only this, as Atul was providing her with the same, the demand reportedly continued, and when, during the hearing, Atul tried to keep his problem before the district judge, she asked for Rs. 5 lakh bribe. Atul had left behind a long video to explain what he had to go through along with a 24-page suicide note, with the title 'Justice Is Due'.
For the unversed, Atul and Nikita got married in 2019, and after a few days, problems started cropping up between them. The duo had a son, and Nikita later didn't let Atul meet their little one. In his suicide note, Atul penned a 'Goodbye letter' to his son, wherein he stated that he should know his mom's real face. He also demanded that his kid's custody should be provided to his parents only, and until justice is done, no one should perform his asthi visarjaan.
After being detained by the police, Nikita Singhania was asked about the allegations that were heaved upon her about harassing Atul. Nikita straightaway denied the claims and questioned if she would have harassed him for money then why she would have left him in the first place.
