Avneet Kaur, a familiar face in the entertainment industry, has been making her mark since her early years. From her debut on TV reality shows like Dance India Dance to her lead roles in popular serials such as Aladdin, Ek Mutthi Aasmaan, and Meri Maa, Avneet has proven her talent and versatility. Her Bollywood debut in 2023 with Tiku Weds Sheru, alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui, further solidified her position. Now, at just 22 years old, Avneet has added another milestone to her journey, making history at the 77th Cannes Film Festival.
Avneet Kaur recently attended the Cannes Film Festival in association with her Indo-Vietnamese movie, Love in Vietnam. It is an International project and the first collective undertaking between India and Vietnam. The film’s poster was unveiled at Cannes, and Avneet had the privilege of doing so.

Avneet makes history as she becomes the youngest actress to unveil a film poster at the Cannes Film Festival. Before her, Hina Khan unveiled a movie poster at the Cannes. Talking about her Cannes experience, Avneet said:
“It’s an exhilarating feeling. I’m very excited to be a part of this historic moment. It’s the first-ever movie collaboration between Vietnam and India. India and Vietnam have had very good relations over the years, and I’m glad to be representing India. Never did I ever think this would happen so soon and we’d create history. It’s all because of my fans and their love and support. I’m blessed and grateful for so much love at such a young age. And I promise to continue breaking the barriers and surprising audiences with new endeavors.”
Avneet Kaur opted for a blue-hued sequinned mini dress featuring a low plunging neckline for her red carpet look at Cannes. She paired her dress with along double-hued trail. The trail had maroon hues in the insides and blue tone on the outside. She completed her look with minimal accessories, including a pair of diamond earrings and embellished stilettos. However, it was Avneet’s confidence that stood out in the crowd.

Taking to her IG handle on May 23, 2024, Avneet Kaur posted a video of her look from her Cannes debut. The actress donned a white-hued lacy jumpsuit with dramatic shoulder deatils. It featured a long trail along with her dress and Avneet spiced up her look with transparent heels. A soft touch of makeup and a half-tied-up hairdo adorned with floral hair accessories completed her look.
