In an interaction with the IANS, the young starlet talked about the same and expressed how much she feels relatable to the role. Avneet explained by reminiscing the time when she had just migrated from Punjab to Mumbai in search of work, and recalls her mother being the only one beside her to help her settle down. In her words:
“I found portraying Ishika's relationship with a single parent quite relatable in some ways. Although I am fortunate to have both of my parents, there was a period in my life when I had just started my career and had to move from Punjab to Mumbai. During that time, my mom was the one who supported me and took care of everything while my dad was not around."

Previously, during a conversation with News18, Avneet Kaur addressed the negativity that she received for making her debut at the Cannes Film Festival 2024. Calling it extremely unfortunate, the young lady revealed how people questioned her for attending such a prestigious event, and even mocked her. She said:
“It was the biggest news and everyone should be proud of that and take pride in that. If Taha Shah or anyone has gone there, it’s a great thing. People should be happy for that. He’s gone for his film, I think, and I went for my film as well. I went to release my poster. People do ask me, ‘Yeh kyun chali gayi waha? Iska kya jana bana?’ Ulta dekh ke khush hona chahiye. I don’t understand why there is so much negativity without any reason."
