Ayushmann Khurrana is one of the most handsome actors in Bollywood. He never leaves a chance to mesmerise his fans, courtesy of his unparalleled acting skills and jaw-dropping looks. He has worked in blockbuster films like Dream Girl, Doctor G, An Action Hero, Andhadhun, Vicky Donor, Badhaai Ho, Bala, Article 15, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Anek and many more. Currently, he is bagging immense success for his recently released film, Dream Girl 2. And amid all the praises he has been receiving, the actor opened up about remembering his late father and how he was his biggest supporter.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Ayushmann Khurrana opened up about his film, Dream Girl 2 and the success he has been grabbing for the same. Talking about the same, the actor remembered his late father, P. Khurrana and revealed that Dream Girl was his father's favourite film. Mentioning how he wishes his father was present today, the actor stated that his father was proud of him for attempting different things. Ayushmann also said that his father had predicted the success of Dream Girl. In his words:

"I wish my father was here to experience this. Dream Girl was his favorite film. He was very proud of how I attempted something so different. I remember he was in splits while watching the film. He had predicted that the film will be a roaring success. I wish he could have watched Dream Girl 2 too."

In the same conversation, Ayushmann mentioned that his father was his biggest supporter. Mentioning how his father's faith in him helped him become who he is today, the actor said that his father had told him he is the creator of his own destiny. Elaborating more about it, Ayushmann said:
"I know he would have loved it, and I would have loved watching him laugh again with all his heart. His laughter was infectious and he was my biggest supporter. His unflinching faith in me has made me who I’m today. I walked the path less traveled because he told me that I was the creator of my own destiny and that I should always do what my heart says."
In the concluding note, Ayushmann stated that even though his father is no longer with them, he knows his blessings are always there. The actor also stated that his father's golden words, "Beta public ki navz smjho," always stays with him and helps him to be better in life.

On May 25, 2023, Ayushmann had taken to his IG handle and dropped a share of pictures from his late father, P. Khurrana's prayer meet. In the first picture, the actor along with his brother, Aparshakti Khurana could be seen helping their inconsolable mother. The next picture featured a photo frame of P. Khurrana, which was decorated with flowers. Sharing the pictures, Ayushmann penned a heartfelt note for his late father. The actor thanked his late father for his love and for giving beautiful memories to them. In his words:
"Maa ka khayal rakhna hai aur humesha saath rehna hai. Pita jaisa banne ke liye bahut duur jaana padta hai apne pita se. Pehli baar aisa mehsoos ho raha hai ki papa bahut duur aur bahut qareeb hain humare. Thank you for your upbringing, love, sense of humour and the most beautiful memories."
