The 2020 lockdown has become a matter of swim or sink for the couples staying together at home. While it might look as a punishment sometimes, there's also a silver lining that needs to be highlighted. Quarantining together will make you realise how good you are as a team, you'll find happiness in the little things and become better listeners and more patient in this unprecedented time. While we have seen on social media how Khurranas are having a gala time together in Chandigarh during the lockdown, the star of the family, Ayushmann Khurrana gives an inside scoop of his quarantine phase. Ayushmann Khurrana and Tahira Kashyap are that one couple from B-town, who has taught us that relationships are a two-way street and it can never be all about just one, as every relationship requires an effort and one should be grateful to what they have. It has been 11 years since Ayushmann and Tahira had exchanged their wedding vows and with their own share of ups and downs, they have proved that in a relationship, a partner must focus on becoming their better-half's strength rather than weakness.

In an interview with the Filmfare, Ayushmann Khurrana spoke about how he is doing during the lockdown phase, his relationship with wife, Tahira Kashyap, kids, Virajveer Khurrana and Varushka Khurrana, and brother, Aparshakti Khurana. Ayushmann began his interview by revealing how he has been a lazy lump in the lockdown, "I’ve been such a lazy lump of protoplasm during this lockdown. Forgive the biology. Actually, I was a student of biology. Samajh mein nahin aata hai ki thak kar sona hai yaa so kar thakna hai. So I’m confused. I sleep for seven and half hours during the night. The afternoon siesta is for an hour and a half. That makes it around 9 to 10 hours of sleep. I feel redundant. I wonder if I’ll be able to work after the lockdown. I’ve become used to just lazing around. I surface around 4.30 pm. I feel energetic after that. Before that I’m cranky. I may even strike someone with something."
While everyone has donned the hat of a chef during the lockdown, Ayushmann Khurrana revealed if he has cooked or not, "Khana khane se fursat milti hi nahi. I can’t cook. When I first came to Mumbai, I’d brought my cook along. I was living in a 1BHK flat. My cook used to share it with me. I can live without a girlfriend or wife. But I can’t live without a cook." Admitting that he has been an absolute pain to his wife, Tahira Kashyap, Ayushmann continued, "I’ve been an absolute pain to Tahira. She wonders what I’m doing. The last time we spent so much time together must have been 10 years back. She considers me as her third child. She’s always known me as a lazy guy, who tries not to be lazy." When asked, "What have you discovered about your kids? Are you a good father?" Ayushmann Khurrana retorted, "I try to be a good father to my kids (son Virajveer and daughter Varushka). I can still do better. I’ve discovered that they’re truly my kids because they’re terrible in mathematics. I go crazy explaining math to my son. He’s good with the piano and art. He’s an artiste."

When Ayushmann Khurrana was asked if he is an easy or difficult person to live with, he revealed that his wife, Tahira Kashyap would be the best person to answer that but he is a little difficult to manage. Ayushmann said, "You’ll have to ask Tahira about that. I’m my own person. I like to do my own things. I’m like let me live my life. Don’t hinder it. If I’m reading a book in a corner of my house – let me be. I don’t bother you. You don’t bother me. That’s my way of thinking. Generally, this doesn’t happen when you have a family. I try to be responsible. Thoda mushkil hai mere saath."
Ayushmann Khurrana praised his star-brother, Aparshakti Khurana for being the best brother in the world and the best human being he knows. Ayushmann remarked, "He’s a better sibling than me for sure. He’s more responsible, more loving. He’s a people’s person. He can forge and nurture relationships. He’s the best brother in the world and also the best husband. In fact, he’s the best human being I know." (Also Read: Aparshakti Khurana Dances On An 80s Pop Song With His Dad, Recreating The Magic Of 'Disco Dancer')
