Babil Khan is the son of the late actor, Irrfan Khan and Sutapa Sikdar. The young actor's life changed overnight after his father's demise. Without knowing the tricks and tips for navigating the industry, Babil had to take the steering wheel of his father's dream of being an actor. But it seems like he has been through a lot within a short period of time. Once, Babil shared his honest thoughts about the Bollywood industry and its challenges.
Earlier, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Babil Khan, who made his presence felt with his cyber thriller, Logout, talked about the challenges he faced as a newcomer. The 25-year-old talked about being in the public eye and how the industry changed him. Babil shared that he entered the industry with an open heart, but his experiences left him deeply hurt and in a lot of pain, and he had to deal with anxiety too. He said:
"I came in the industry with my heart and arms open, but it really broke me as a person. It hurt me a lot. I dealt with pain and anxiety."
Looking back, Babil now thinks that those struggles were important lessons for him as they shaped him into a better person. He added that he takes the difficult moments as an opportunity to learn from it. Talking about it, Babil said:
"I wouldn't trade that for anything because it gave me the perspective to look at other things in the world. Anything that happens to you, you must look at it as something that is happening to help you evolve."
Earlier, in an interview with Film Companion, Babil Khan revealed that the industry would have been different if he hadn't been Irrfan Khan's son. He stated that they wouldn't have cared about his debut as he would be another actor trying to get into films. He said:
"If I was not Irrfan Khan’s son, nobody would have cared about my debut. I would have been just an actor trying to get into films, auditioning, and maybe getting a part. Getting recognised through your work is so much greater than inheriting recognition. I feel like the word ‘debut’, and ‘launch’, these things always make the individual greater than the story and the film."
For those who don't know, a video of Babil went viral on Reddit, leaving fans extremely concerned for him. In the clip, Babil looks upset and about to break down as he tries to form words to express his emotions. Babil mentioned some of the renowned Bollywood people, including Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, and Arjun Kapoor. Not only this, but he also included Raghav Juyal, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and some more, as he called them extremely rude. However, later his team clarified that the video was taken out of context while he was acknowledging their contribution in the Hindi Film industry. He was quoted as saying in the video:

"What I mean to say is that, I just want you guys to know that there are people like Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Pandey and Arjun Kapoor and Siddhant Chaturvedi and Raghav Juyal and Adarsh Gourav and even… Arijit Singh? There are so, so many more names. Bollywood is so ****ed. Bollywood is so, so rude."
It is also worth mentioning that the post, which seems to have been shared as Babil's IG story, was immediately taken down as soon as it was posted. Also, BollywoodShaadis cannot ascertain the authenticity of the video. As of now, Babil has not reacted to his video going viral, but his fans have been concerned about his emotional and mental health.
Well, it seems like Babil is struggling to find a circle of friends in the industry!
