The horrifying incident of Pahalgam attack has left the nation in tears. A heartbreaking clip surfaced, where a baby was seeing crying inconsolably after losing his parents went viral, which was claimed to be from recent incident. Well, this's not true.
The Pahalgam terror attack has left the entire nation in tears. 26 tourists were brutally killed when they were in Baisaran Valley, a scenic destination in Pahalgam, South Kashmir. The horrifying details of the incident had left people shocked. From an 8-year-old baby to a navy officer, 22 tourists, two foreigners, and two locals lost their lives at the hands of the terrorists. Recently, a heartbreaking video made rounds on social media, where a baby was seen crying after loosing his parents. While people claimed this video to be from Pahalgam attack it was seemingly not.

The Pahalgam incident took place at around 3 p.m. on April 22, 2025. The terrorists reportedly singled out the Hindus and killed them brutally. In a video that went viral, a baby was seen being rescued. He was taken away from the place where the incident happened. Well, his breaking voice was enough to tear the souls apart in pain. In the clip, the baby was seen crying inconsolably while expressing his wish to reach his mom. Such a visual has left people heartbroken, and it was claimed to be from Pahalgam attack, which is not true.

Let us tell you that, this video had gone viral, and it was claimed that the baby was Hindu and lost his parents in Pahalgam attack. But the truth is, the video is dated back from July 2020. This happened during a terror attack in Sopore, Jammu and Kashmir back in 2020. After the video was uploaded by TellyChakkar, another site, News Meter ran an image search of the clip's keyframes, and found out that the video was not from the current terror attack that took place in Pahalgam.
An 8-year-old kid was reportedly killed in the Pahalgam terror attack
In the visuals that made rounds on the internet from Pahalgam, the family members of the deceased were seen lamenting the loss. As per reports, among others, an 8-year-old kid was shot dead by the terrorists. Speaking about this horrifying incident, the baby's mom revealed that she had promised her son to make him see the snow. The details and the visuals are enough to break the hearts into pieces.
Amit Shah pays tribute to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack and pens down a heartbreaking note
Amit Shah reached the site of the attack on April 23, 2025. The Union Home Minister paid tribute to the victims of the terror attack at a wreath-laying ceremony outside the Police Control Room in Srinagar. Taking to his Twitter (X), Amit Shah penned down a note. In his note, Amit Shah penned that he had paid last respect to the deceased of the terror attack. He also added that India will not bend to terror, and the culprits will not be spared. In Amit Shah's words:

Sketches of the attackers were released by security agencies
The Pahalgam terror attack raised an alarm again. After the incident, TRF, a banned Pakistan-based terror group, Lashkar-e-Taiba, claimed responsibility for the same. Reportedly, they were signalling out the Hindus and assassinating them brutally. Recently, security agencies have released sketches of the attackers of the Pahalgam terror attack. As per the agencies, all of them are linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba, and two of them are reportedly foreigners. Currently, security agencies are tracking down the ways to get their hands on the executors of this heinous act. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was in Saudi Arabia, cut his trip short and moved back to India. Taking to his X, Modi penned:
"Those behind this heinous act will be brought to justice...they will not be spared! Their evil agenda will never succeed. Our resolve to fight terrorism is unshakable and it will get even stronger."
