Asmita Sood is on cloud nine as she recently got hitched with the love of her life, Siddh Mehta in an intimate wedding in Goa. For the unversed, Asmita made her acting debut with the 2011 Telugu film, Brammigadi Katha. Following this, she endorsed over 40 brands and appeared in many television shows, including Phir Bhi Na Maane...Badtameez Dil and Dil Hi Toh Hai. On the work front, Asmita was last seen in the TV show, Janam Janam Ka Saath. Now, as the actress got married in a two-day event with a sangeet and cocktail party on the first day and haldi and pheras on the second day, we got glimpses of the same, and these are simply mesmerising.
Asmita Sood tied the knot with a Gujarati businessman, Siddh Mehta in the first week of February in Goa amid the presence of her close friends and family members. For the wedding, the actress opted for an embellished pink-hued lehenga featuring peacock motifs. She teamed it with a matching blouse and sheer dupattas. In addition, she accessorised her look with kundan jewellery, including a broad necklace, matching earrings, a maang teeka and red chooda. Glam makeup, a red bindi and a middle-parted bun hairdo added stars to Asmita's look. On the other hand, her groom, Siddh complemented her in a white-hued bandhgala suit.

In a video that surfaced on the internet, Asmita was seen gracefully walking towards the mandap and looked simply breathtaking. Afterwards, the lovebirds were seen doing the varmala ritual, followed by a heartfelt moment when they lip-locked and sealed the deal. The moment was indeed treasurable for them.

We also got some stunning glimpses from Asmita and Siddh's cocktail party. In the pictures, the then-bride-to-be looked gorgeous in a shimmery gown teamed with a ponytail hairdo and statement diamond earrings. On the other hand, Siddh looked handsome in a white tuxedo. They were seen lost in each other's embrace while dancing their hearts out at their cocktail party.
For the uninitiated, Asmita has been in a relationship with Siddh for almost a year and a half. They met each other through common friends, and also worked together when Asmita organised a music festival. Following this, their friendship blossomed into love, and they got engaged in September 2023. Afterwards, in an interview with the ETimes, Asmita opened up about Siddh's dreamy proposal in Prague. She said:
"Siddh proposed with a beautiful ring when we were in Prague. He planned a surprise in a park while proposing. He told he wants to spend his life with me travelling around the world."

Further, in the same conversation, Asmita mentioned that Siddh, who hails from Rajkot has a business over there. But despite their diverse professions, they have many things in common between them. The actress had also praised her then-would-be-in-laws and added:
"I met him when I was organising a music festival. We became friends and realised that we had a lot in common. The wedding will happen soon and we are very happy. Siddh has a very nice family and he has his own business in Rajkot. As of now haven't decided if I will move to Rajkot, post my wedding. I have found a very caring and loving person in Siddh."
