Bigg Boss 19 has dropped its biggest shocker of the season by eliminating one of the strongest contestants, Baseer Ali. Insiders already broke the news of his eviction before the Weekend ka Vaar episode. However, fans were still hopeful of a 'secret room' development or some twist that would bring Baseer back. Given the current scenario with an imminent third wildcard entry, Baseer's re-entry in the house seems unlikely. It has sparked massive criticism against the Bigg Boss showmakers, with many alleging that Baseer's weekend tiff with Salman Khan was the reason for his exit.
The October 26, 2025, episode was the second week of Bigg Boss 19, during which a double eviction took place. The four nominated contestants, Baseer Ali, Nehal Chudasama, Gaurav Khanna, and Pranit More, were asked by host, Salman Khan, to complete a 'rage task' to determine who would be eliminated. The four nominees had to hit a boxing punch machine, and the written fate of their BB19 house venture would appear from the machine. The result was that Gaurav and Parnit received 'safe' placards while Nehal and Baseer received 'eliminated' placards.

Baseer Ali enjoys a massive fan following, thanks to his multiple prominent reality show appearances. Before Bigg Boss 19, he participated in Roadies Rising (2017), Ace of Space 2 (2019), and even won Splitsvilla 10 (2017). Being a reality show veteran, Baseer was one of the fan favourites to have a long journey in the BB19 house, if not win the show. However, his eviction while one-third of the show remained seemed biased toward a large group of fans. Many alleged that Baseer's explosive statements on October 25, 2025 (Saturday) made the showmakers unfairly evict him the next day.

A day ahead of Baseer's elimination, he had a little argument with Salman Khan over Tanya Mittal. Salman raised the issue of Tanya Mittal offering Mridul Tiwari game tips and him conveying it to the other contestants in a way that made it seem like Tanya was mocking or criticising their gameplay. Salman said that it was not okay for the entire house to take Tanya's comment personally and blame her for something she was not guilty of. Baseer opposed his viewpoint, saying that even though Tanya wasn't wrong, she must have done something previously that makes people easily believe narratives against her.

Salman did not agree to Baseer's argument and said, "Tanya galat nehi thi!" Baseer replied that Tanya's intentions aren't always clear in her words, as she often does things with hidden agendas. Salman ended the conversation there and moved on to the next topic. Now, with Baseer's eviction the next day, fans feel that his speaking out against the BB19-set narrative regarding Tanya led to his removal from the show. Comments like "Makers tried to twist the story, but Baseer exposed them with facts, not drama" have been making rounds on social media, along with clips of the Salman vs Baseer tiff.

A data analysis by Bollywood Lite showed that Baseer received the highest votes this week. They claimed that "exposing #TanyaMittal cost him" and Baseer "was the biggest threat to Tanya and #Amaal Mallik's popularity," leading to his elimination. Following that, his fans rallied to his support, and the phrase "PUBLIC DEMANDS BASEER" has been going viral on X (formerly Twitter).
