Baseer Ali's Mom SHUTS Down Buzz About The Former's Love Angle With Farrhana, 'He Is Not There...'

Baseer Ali is one of the contestants of Bigg Boss 19, who is currently locked inside the house. One of the major highlights of the show was Baseer’s confession to now-evicted contestant, Natalia Janoszek. Later, he was linked with fellow contestants, Farrhana Bhatt and Nehal Chudasama. Now, in an interview, Baseer’s mom broke her silence and addressed the love angle buzz surrounding her son on Bigg Boss 19. She also lauded her son and supported his performance on the game show hosted by Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan.

In a recent interview with TOI, Baseer Ali’s mom, Afshan, shared that her son has always been a logical and responsible child. She mentioned that when Baseer was just six and a half years old, he helped her make many big life decisions. She then heaped praises on her son, expressing that Baseer cannot tolerate injustice and thus always takes his stand. In her words:

"Baseer has always been a very logical and responsible child. Even at just six and a half years old, he helped me make major life decisions; he was my strength and did it so effortlessly. So, for the housemates to call him aggressive is completely untrue. Yes, he cannot tolerate injustice, and if he feels something is wrong, he will always take a stand, and so will I. I don't think there's anything wrong with that."

Baseer Ali's mom negates Malti Chahar's claim about the former's dual image

In the same interview, Afshan was asked about Malti Chahar’s claims about Baseer’s dual image portrayal. For the unversed, in an earlier episode of Bigg Boss 19, Malti read Baseer's palm and said that he is different from what he shows. Hearing Malti’s claim, Afshan negates it and said that it is 'absolutely untrue.' Baseer’s mom explained that she has known her son for years and highlighted how he apologises when he feels he is slightly wrong. She was quoted as saying:

"I've known my son for years, and he's exactly the person he appears to be. Have you noticed? Even if he argues with someone, he never holds grudges. The moment he feels he's even slightly wrong, he goes and apologises. He is extremely warm-hearted and genuine. Unfortunately, the way some housemates are trying to portray him is far from the truth."

Further in the interview, Baseer’s mom addressed the buzz around the love angle established involving her son, Baseer, and his fellow contestants, Farrhana Bhatt and Nehal Chudasama. Shutting down the speculations, Afshan said that for her son, the show is nothing but a game. She mentioned that maybe in real life, Baseer would love to have a companion, but not inside the BB19 house. In her words:

"For Baseer, the show is purely a game. He isn't there to find love. Maybe in life, he would love to have a companion, but inside the house, there's nothing like that. All the assumptions people are making about him and Farrhana Bhatt or Nehal Chudasama are completely baseless."
