The infamous Indian TV reality show, Bigg Boss, always garners much limelight due to the controversies that come up during the show. Similarly, the 17th season has become one of the hottest topics of discussion in the media due to the constant fights and arguments between the contestants. Amongst the inmates, Ankita Lokhande and her husband, Vicky Jain, have been continuously getting substantial limelight due to their ugly arguments with one another, and the consequent trouble in their marital life.
On the January 5, 2024, episode of Bigg Boss 17, Ankita and Vicky were once again seen locking horns with one another. The latter got extremely upset when Ankita asked him why he was eating food in ‘Dil Ka Makaan’ with Mannara Chopra. Ankita had an adverse reaction in front of Mannara, which infuriated her husband, Vicky. An angry Vicky grabbed the plate and left the room. He charged Ankita with some hurtful words and said that she had always been like that, even outside of the Bigg Boss house. Vicky revealed that Ankita's behaviour pushed people away from him in his real life, resulting in him losing his friends. They were afraid to stay in touch with him due to the actress' extreme reactions. Vicky slammed Ankita and said:
“You publicly embarrass me. Isliye dost mere se door bhaagte hai. Phir log darne lag jate hai. Baat nahi karta hun main isse nahi toh Ankita aisa react karegi."

Throughout Bigg Boss 17, Ankita has been upset with her husband Vicky for not giving her enough attention. She has told him on multiple occasions that he seems to care more about other participants, such as Mannara and Isha than he does about his own wife. In the same episode, when Vicky expressed concern for Mannara's feelings, Ankita felt ignored.
Vicky Jain was sitting on the bed with Ankita and expressed his discomfort with her friendship with Munawar Faruqui. He stated that he didn't like their bond but he still never interfered in their bonding. Vicky mentioned that he gives Ankita space and freedom when she is with Munawar, even when they hold hands or hug. Further in the episode, he asked Ankita not to talk to Munawar. Ankita, then explained that Munawar is like a brother to her, but Vicky insisted that they shouldn't communicate with people their partners have issues with.

Ankita responded by telling Vicky that she doesn't like it when he prioritises Mannara. This led to a big argument, during which Vicky said he wouldn't talk to Mannara if she had a problem with her. Vicky suggested a solution if Ankita stops talking to Munawar, he will also stop entertaining Mannara. Later, Ankita realised her mistake and apologised to Vicky.
A post was uploaded by one of Bigg Boss's fan pages on X (formerly Twitter) with the same excerpts from the recent episode. Netizens took to the comment section of the post and shared their views on the constant fights between the only married couple in the BB house, Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain. Some called the actress 'possessive' and mentioned that the two need to work on their marriage. One user wrote, "Vicky is rudest person in the relationship." Another one said, "Ye dono ka bhi alag hi bigg boss chalta rehta hai." A third comment can be read as "Ankita only came to defend munawar, kabhi apne husband ko bhi defend karliya kar."
