'Bigg Boss 18' Narrator, Vijay Vikram Singh Gets Death Threats From Angry Rajat Dalal's Fans

Vijay Vikram Singh is best known for being the narrator of the famous controversial reality show, Bigg Boss 18. He has been getting a lot of death threats and abuse on social media by Rajat Dalal's fans. This was because they had mistakenly thought that he was the voice of Bigg Boss himself and were unhappy that Rajat was not declared the winner of Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss 18.

Vijay Vikram Singh receives threats online from Rajat Dalal's fans

Vijay Vikram Singh has been the voice-over narrator of Bigg Boss since the fourth season. Now, Rajat, a fitness influencer, lost the Bigg Boss 18 trophy to contestant, Karan Veer Mehra, who won the season. The controversy started when Karan defeated Vivian and Rajat and took home the trophy. Mehra's victory was celebrated by his loved ones. However, Dalal secured third place and was evicted. A huge outcry happened among Rajat's fans, who slammed the Bigg Boss producers for manipulating the show's results. Vijay was slammed and was mistakenly blamed for Dalal being evicted from the show.

Dalal became the second runner-up while Vivian was declared the first runner-up of Bigg Boss 18. Now, Vijay's role was to only give commentary which was scripted by the producers of the show. However, a section of Rajat's fans thought he was Bigg Boss, and hence, violent threats came to him.

Vijay Vikram Singh gets death threats via social media

A report by News 18 claimed that Vijay received the death threats through social media. His message box on Instagram was flooded with varied threats and public posts that made him a target. Fans of Bigg Boss have earlier claimed that the show's winner was fixed as everything was scripted. Reportedly, Vijay's family was also abused and cursed that they would never stay happy. This prompted the narrator to turn off his comments section.

It was in December 2024 when Vijay had taken to his Instagram handle to make a video from his car. In his caption, he had requested that hate messages not be sent to him as he was the second voice of Bigg Boss and not the Bigg Boss. He said in the video:

He also said that he does not know if the voice of Bigg Boss is a machine or a real person. So he requested the audience not to abuse him but to use their time for productive things.
