BB19: Is Gaurav Khanna Jealous Of Amaal Mallik For Getting Ekta Kapoor's Offer? 'Because It Was...'

Bigg Boss 19, which premiered on August 24, 2025, is on its final leg as the show races towards its grand finale. For those unversed, there are only three more days left for the three-and-a-half months of intense competition to come to an end on December 7, 2025, when the winner will finally be crowned. However, during these past few months, the reality show has given us many viral moments, especially with the contestants' behaviour towards each other as they fight to reach the top. One such moment that caught viewers' eyes recently was when, during a recent episode, Amaal Mallik, Farrhana Bhatt, and Malti Chahar were seen discussing fellow contestant, Gaurav Khanna. Here's what happened.  

What triggered the BB19 participants' conversation about Gaurav Khanna? 

BB19, the hit Hindi television reality show, started out with sixteen contestants when it first premiered in August 2025. Now, with only three days left until the show's grand finale, we have finally got the top six contestants: Gaurav Khanna, Farrhana Bhatt, Tanya Mittal, Pranit More, Malti Chahar, and Amaal Mallik. Those who have been following the show religiously might know that Gaurav Khanna has been a topic for conversation among his fellow participants multiple times. One such conversation occurred recently, where he was called out for being jealous by Amaal Mallik, Farrhana Bhatt, and Malti Chahar.  

What triggered the conversation was Gaurav's observation of Amaal Mallik relaxing on the couch while he was working out. Following his observation, he advised Amaal to start exercising, noting that he often sees the singer lounging around. While Amaal disagreed with Gaurav and tried to come up with excuses, Gaurav reminded him of the offer he had received from producer, Ekta Kapoor. According to Gaurav, Amaal will need to stay in shape constantly if he wants to make the most of this opportunity.  

Although we viewers can't be sure whether it was really Gaurav's intention to take a dig at Amaal, his fellow contestants definitely saw it that way. Instead of seeing it as genuine advice coming from a place of goodwill, they thought that the Anupamaa actor was simply jealous of Amaal. Regarding the same, Amaal accused Gaurav and said: 

"Ye mere kaam ke offer ko leke chidhe hue nahi hai, harr do teen baaton mein salah dete hain." 

Malti Chahar and Farrhana Bhatt sided with Amaal Mallik and called Gaurav out for being jealous  

Malti, who had front-row seats to this conversation, immediately chirped in and said that, rather than calling Ashnoor Kaur jealous of Tanya Mittal for getting an offer from Ekta Kapoor, the show's host, Salman Khan, should have taken note of Gaurav's jealousy towards Amaal first. When Amaal asked her what he should do now, Farrhana, who was sitting next to them, suggested that the singer raise the matter next time in front of Salman. She took it a step further by questioning why he continues to bring up this same topic every chance he gets, while it has already been days since Amaal received the offer. Before Gaurav could reply, Amaal quickly added: 

"Because it was his dream to work with Ekta Kapoor, and I've the option to say yes or no. That also he doesn't like. Par ye offer bhi aaya woh chidh hai unko. Par woh thodi si zyaada baat thi ke jab offer hua tab ye saamne se khud bole ma'am mujhe kab milega ye mauka, tabhi aisa nahi dikhana chahiye tha. Then she said arre GK tum toh superstar ho."
