How Becky Lynch met her dream man, Seth Rollins

Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins fell in love during their 2019 Europe tour. Soon, reports were rife that the two were seeing each other. Becky and Rollins have made a huge name for themselves individually in the WWE ring. However, they like to keep their personal life private. 

The couple made their relationship official in May 2019 through an Instagram post. In the monochrome picture, the two were sharing a lip lock, which confirmed their union. Later, they made their first appearance as a couple at the 2019 ESPY Awards. In an interview with People, Becky talked about meeting her six-time world champion beau. She stated that when they came together, she realised that he was the one with whom she wanted to have kids, and she knew that he was the one for her. She said:

"When we got together, things started to look a lot clearer and I knew he was the person that I wanted to have kids with. That this was going to happen and it was just a matter of when."

After a year of togetherness, Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins found out that they were pregnant in 2020. The couple announced the same in 2020 that they were expecting their first child. Talking about the pregnancy, Becky revealed that at first, she took the pregnancy test incorrectly. She took a few more tests, but then she decided to take a digital test that just said 'pregnant'. Talking about her beau's excitement, she revealed he got super excited and threw his hands up in the air. 

However, for Becky, becoming a mother made her nervous. She added that it was difficult for her to make choices for another life, as all her life she has lived for herself. Becky had to now think about the life growing inside her. Talking about the emotions, she said:

"You've lived your whole life as thinking for yourself and yourself alone. Now you have this whole other person that you have to look after and grow, and make sure that you're doing everything that you possibly can to make sure that they are the healthiest and the safest that they can be."

Becky Lynch welcomed a daughter in December 2020

Becky and her beau, Seth, welcomed their daughter in December 2020. They named her Roux. After her daughter's birth, Lynch started to feel 'off' a couple of years later, after she stopped breastfeeding her daughter. In 2023, she revealed that things got worse, and depression hit her. She said:

"It kind of got really, really dark for a few months and I was in a really bad spot. It was kind of one of those things where you're trying to pull yourself out of it, because you know mentally, ‘God, I’ve got a great life. I’ve got a great husband. I’ve got a great baby, and I’m doing this thing at the highest level that I love.’ But no reasoning with yourself was able to overcome that level of depression."

After getting engaged in 2019, the couple got married in 2021. A year of the pandemic forced them to shift their focus from getting married to making sure that their baby could also attend it. Roux also ended up as a guest of honour at her parents' wedding in June 2021.

During an episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, Becky was cutting a promo when fellow wrestler, Nikki interrupted her. She tried to instigate the current Women's Intercontinental Champion. She pointed out that she tells people she made history with her career, but she wouldn't have a page to write that history if Nikki weren't there. Nikki even went on to call Becky a 'coward'. Becky took the bait and agreed to match. However, it was her words that outraged fans. She dragged Ozzy Osbourne and his death. She said:

"Fine! You can have your match, but at Clash In Paris. Because I am not wrestling in Birmingham. The only good thing to come out of here died a month ago. But at least he had the good sense to move out to LA, a proper city. Because if I lived in Birmingham, I’d die too."

Ozzy Osbourne's daughter, Kelly Osbourne, slammed Becky for her distasteful remark

Within no time, Becky received major backlash, and WWE is famous for establishing a negative image using all sorts of tactics. While the internet was bashing Becky, Kelly Osbourne, daughter of Ozzy Osbourne, took to her Instagram stories and slammed the wrestler. She called out her disrespectful remark, and hailed her forever home. She even lashed out at WWE for letting the mean remark go on air. She wrote:

"Becky Lynch, you are a disrespectful dirt***. Birmingham would not p*** on you if you were on fire. Birmingham forever. Shame on WWE for allowing such things to be said about my father and his home."
