As a kid, the only thing I remember about winters was my navy-blue school blazer (which I thought was quite awesome) and dollops of moisturising lotion my mom used to apply on my hands and feet, at least twice a day. Cut to now, the winter routine remains the same, because dryness robs your skin of all the possible moisture, basically kills you literally. No matter the number of times you slather the moisturising lotion on your hands and feet, within a few hours, it’s back to square one.

One of the most common problems we often face in winters is cracked heels. In order to fight this, you need to first soak your feet in lukewarm water for roughly 10 minutes. Now use a pumice stone to scrub away the dead cells. Pat your feet dry. Now make a mixture of glycerin and rose water and apply it on your cracked heels. Let it soak. Repeat this for a few days for best results.
