Every pregnant woman eagerly waits for her baby shower as everyone comes together to celebrate her soon-to-be-born little one. India’s first pregnant anchor, Bharti Singh, too, must be dreaming about her baby shower ceremony. And her show, Hunarbaaz’s team fulfilled her dream by surprising her with one. After planning for the longest time, Bharti Singh and her husband, Haarsh Limbachiyaa had announced their pregnancy in December 2021.
Bharti Singh has planned to work even in the last month of her pregnancy and is currently hosting the reality show, Hunarbaaz. This has made her India’s first pregnant anchor. A few days back, Colours TV had dropped a video on their Instagram handle that featured a few behind the sets clips from their show, Hunarbaaz. In the video, we could see Bharti working on the sets of the show, despite being pregnant, and normalising the concept of women working even during their pregnancies.

A few hours back, Colours TV dropped a promotional video of their show, Hunazbaaz’s upcoming episode, and it’s magical. In the video, Haarsh Limbachiyaa can be seen taking blindfolded Bharti Singh on the stage of the show, which was decorated for her surprise baby shower. Later, the judges, Karan Johar, Parineeti Chopra, and Mithun Chakraborty also joined them to celebrate Bharti’s godh bharai. Check out the video below:
For the unversed, after speculations regarding their pregnancy, on December 10, 2021, Bharti Singh had shared a video on her YouTube channel, announcing her pregnancy. At the beginning of the video, Bharti was seen stunned as she could not believe the result of her self-pregnancy test kit. After which, she had tried to wake up her sleeping hubby, Haarsh Limbachiyaa. Later, Haarsh was super excited to hear the pregnancy news. Check out the video below:

In a conversation with the Bombay Times, Bharti Singh had talked about her pregnancy and had shared that she was five months pregnant and had hidden about the same from her family, too, for three months. She had said:
“I am five months pregnant and the baby is due at the end of April. I had to be guarded about it, as our families didn’t want me to talk about it until I had completed four months. In fact, we disclosed the news to them after I completed three months.”
Bharti had also shared that she will be working till the last month of her pregnancy. She feels blessed as her child will understand their hard work from the beginning. She had shared:
“I am glad that we are working during my pregnancy. I want to work till the ninth month of my pregnancy. Hamaara bachcha bhi hamaari mehnat mehsoos kar raha hai and I hope the child grows up to become as hard-working as us. I hope and pray that bachcha apne papa ki tarah mehnati nikle. Haarsh has started putting more hours into work. We want to do as much work as possible before the baby is born so that we get ample time to spend with our bundle of joy.”
Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa are expecting their first baby in April 2022.
