Becoming a mother is one of the most wonderful feelings in the world. The mommies-to-be are on their toes to ensure that their baby is born healthy, and there are no complications in their pregnancy. They leave no stones unturned to provide their child with all the happiness in this world. And, laughter queen, Bharti Singh, is going through a similar phase in her life as she is all set to embrace motherhood soon.
For the unversed, on December 10, 2021, Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa had shared a video on his YouTube channel to announce their first pregnancy. In the video, at first, Bharti was seen looking at her self-test pregnancy kit and later, she was stunned seeing two lines on it. Further, after dancing with joy, she had woken her husband, Haarsh and had announced the ‘good news’ to him, who had looked super-excited after hearing the pregnancy news. Check out:
Bharti Singh has been quite vocal about her maternity, and now in an interview with Bollywood Life, she opened up about how she's taking care of herself. The mommy-to-be shared that she's been on a healthy diet and exercising regularly to avoid any complications. She said:
"I have been waking up early in the morning. I go for walk, and then I eat soaked almonds and something healthy for my breakfast like sprouts or something green with lots of fruits and juice. Later in lunch, I eat bajra, jawar, corn ki rotis, I try to eat as healthy I can. I don't really on anyone to give me food on time. I make sure that I myself do it as right now the person who can take the best care of me is 'me'."
Bharti Singh had started her fitness journey long before her pregnancy and had shocked the entire nation with her physical transformation. Further in the interview, the comedienne also revealed that she wants to continue working so that she can avoid the painful experience of a C-section. She added that she's scared of caesarean and added:
"I have started doing yoga every alternate day. I am really very scared of caesarean, I've heard it hurts a lot later and I will be a working mother so I don't want any complications ahead. I have been working out a lot and following all the instructions by my doctor so that I can have a normal delivery. I at least walk for an hour in the morning and do yoga that is instructed by my trainer."
The pregnancy phase is no less than a rollercoaster ride for a woman. The mommies-to-be go through mixed emotions during their pregnancy and experience cravings for different food items. Talking about her cravings, Bharti Singh said:
"I really crave to eat vada pav a lot. I can eat vada pav three times a day with lasoon ki chutney and one cold drink. I know cold drink is not allowed at this time. I really don't care about the color or gender of the baby, bus healthy baby ho."
Earlier, in a conversation with the Bombay Times, Bharti Singh had talked about her pregnancy and had shared that she is five months pregnant and had hidden about the same from her family, too, for three months. She had said:
“I am five months pregnant and the baby is due at the end of April. I had to be guarded about it, as our families didn’t want me to talk about it until I had completed four months. In fact, we disclosed the news to them after I completed three months.”
Recalling Haarsh’s reaction when Bharti had announced their pregnancy to him, the comedienne had shared that he had started crying. Stating that Haarsh is excited and has been handling her mood swings and morning sickness, Bharti had mentioned:
“He was in tears when I shared the news with him. He loves kids. Mere se zyada iss bachhe ki maa Haarsh hai. He is very excited about the new phase. I am experiencing severe mood swings and morning sickness, but Haarsh has been pampering and taking extra care of me through it all. It’s a beautiful and challenging phase.”
For the unversed, Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa had tied the knot on December 3, 2017, at a destination wedding in Goa.
