Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa were planning for a child for a long time. However, they had to always postpone their baby plans owing to the pandemic. The comedians are all set to become parents for the first time, and keeping their style, they had the funniest pregnancy announcement. Bharti is due in April 2022, and now, she talked about her pregnancy phase.
After speculations regarding their pregnancy, on December 10, 2021, Bharti Singh had shared a video on her YouTube channel, announcing her pregnancy. At the beginning of the video, Bharti was seen stunned as she could not believe the result of her self-pregnancy test kit. After which, she had tried to wake up her sleeping hubby, Haarsh Limbachiyaa. Later, Haarsh was super excited to hear the pregnancy news. Check out the video below:

In a conversation with the Bombay Times, Bharti Singh talked about her pregnancy and shared that she is five months pregnant and had hid about the same from her family, too, for three months. She said:
“I am five months pregnant and the baby is due at the end of April. I had to be guarded about it, as our families didn’t want me to talk about it until I had completed four months. In fact, we disclosed the news to them after I completed three months.”
Bharti further shared that she and Haarsh used to joke about becoming parents and while shooting for Dance Deewane, they had got to know about their pregnancy. She added:
“I would often jokingly tell him on stage, ‘Kab mummy banayega, kab papa banega?’ In fact, even during the shoot of Dance Deewane, when we learnt about our pregnancy, everyone continued with the joke. I would laugh, thinking ki kya bataau sabko ki we are already pregnant.”
Recalling Haarsh’s reaction when Bharti had announced their pregnancy to him, the comedienne shared that he had started crying. Stating that Haarsh is excited and has been handling her mood swings and morning sickness, Bharti said:
“He was in tears when I shared the news with him. He loves kids. Mere se zyada iss bachhe ki maa Haarsh hai. He is very excited about the new phase. I am experiencing severe mood swings and morning sickness, but Haarsh has been pampering and taking extra care of me through it all. It’s a beautiful and challenging phase.”

When asked if she had lost 15 kgs in a year as a step towards pregnancy, Bharti replied that while losing weight, they hadn’t planned for a family. In her words:
“During the pandemic, I realised that I had become healthy and fit. I suffer from asthma. So, I decided to work on myself and lose weight for a healthier lifestyle. We hadn’t planned to go the family way. However, a child is God’s gift and this is His blessings. I find it so funny. Main kal tak bachchi thi, logon ke saath flirt karti thi aur ab sab kuch khatam ho gaya.”
Bharti also shared that she will be working till the last month of her pregnancy. She feels blessed as her child will understand their hard work from the beginning. She concluded:
“I am glad that we are working during my pregnancy. I want to work till the ninth month of my pregnancy. Hamaara bachcha bhi hamaari mehnat mehsoos kar raha hai and I hope the child grows up to become as hard-working as us. I hope and pray that bachcha apne papa ki tarah mehnati nikle. Haarsh has started putting more hours into work. We want to do as much work as possible before the baby is born so that we get ample time to spend with our bundle of joy.”
For the unversed, Bharti and Haarsh had taken their wedding vows in 2017.
