Bhumi Pednekar Shares Her Candid Views On The Botox And Fillers Debate, Says, 'Discussed Way Too..'

Bhumi Pednekar is an actress who rose to fame for her roles in films like Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha , and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan. The actress is a fitness freak and has often been seen flaunting her fitness, leaving her fans inspired. However, since she got fillers, there has been a debate around the actress changing her looks, which further fueled the conversation about the industry and its unrealistic beauty standards. 

Bhumi Pednekar gets candid about the botox and filler debate

The debate surrounding actors opting for cosmetic procedures has been ongoing for a long time. Fillers and botox have become so common in the industry that it has sparked an intense debate around their use. Bhumi Pednekar got involved in this conversation when she appeared in the web series starring Ishan Khatter, The Royals. The series led fans to belive that the actress has gone under the knife and she faced extreme trolling for the same. However, she has now reacted to the debate and shared her candid views on the same.

In a recent conversation with News18 Showsha Bhumi Pednekar at a recent event in New Delhi was asked about the speculations around her use of cosmetic procedures to look a certain way. To this, the actress argued that too much attention is being given to this subject and added that if one wants to opt for fillers, they have the right to make that decision. She was quoted as saying:

"I feel, to each their own. We live in a time where people should make their own choices. I am nobody to have any kind of judgment on what people want to do. I also feel that this is being discussed way too much. It is my way of being."

Bhumi Pednekar was in Delhi for a Skechers event 

Bhumi Pednekar was in New Delhi for a Skechers' event. During the same time, she opened up about how people in Delhi had come together to run a thousand kilometres collectively. For the unversed, the brand Sketchers, in return, was going to give 100 pairs of shoes to The Kutumb Foundation, which works to empower disadvantaged people in Delhi. She was quoted as saying:

"People in Delhi have come together and run one thousand kilometres collectively. Sketchers, in return, is going to give 100 pairs of shoes to The Kutumb Foundation. It is so lovely."

In the same conversation, Bhumi Pednekar got candid about her fitness and health. The actress shared that she incorporated a significant amount of ghee into her diet. She revealed that while people are afraid of it, she adds loads of it. However, she consumes it raw, as that way it is extremely beneficial for one's health. She was quoted as saying:

"People get very scared of but I have it in my diet – fat. I have a lot of ghee in my diet. The only difference is that I do not cook with ghee; I consume it raw. Put it on your rotis or idlis, it is very beneficial for your health."

Bhumi Pednekar was last seen in Netflix's The Royals, alongside Ishaan Khatter, Zeenat Aman, Dino Morea, Nora Fatehi, Sakshi Tanwar, and others. The series continues to stream on Netflix and has received praise for its fresh take on romance. Bhumi will next be seen in Daldal, a gritty web series for Prime Video.
