Bhumi Pednekar Reveals Her Fashion Evolution Is An Attempt To Improve Self-Confidence

In a recent interaction with ANI, Bhumi Pednekar revealed how her recent fashion evolution has been an attempt to improve her confidence and help her in self-discovery.

Bhumi Pednekar reveals that she struggled to feel confident while growing up

Today, actress, Bhumi Pednekar is appreciated for her beauty, acting, witty statements, and distinctive fashion choices. But there was a time when Bhumi struggled to fit the societal standards, which affected her self-confidence. So, she turned to fashion, using it to find her personality and improve her self-confidence. Speaking on her lack of confidence as a kid, Bhumi was quoted saying to ANI: 

 “When I was growing up, I struggled with feeling confident, especially because of the pressure to fit into certain beauty ideals. But instead of letting that define me, I turned to fashion as a form of self-discovery”.

Bhumi feels fashion is a medium for her to express herself

In recent times, Bhumi's fashion choices have caused a stir. She has made significant style statements, experimented with her looks, and set the fashion world ablaze with bold fashion choices. She loves experimenting with her fashion and breaking stereotypes. Bhumi has mostly played small-town girls in her films and feels that her fashion has helped people understand that small-town girls can also be gorgeous. The Raksha Bandhan actress shared that she uses fashion to express herself and her recent fashion evolution is a result of it. She was quoted saying: 

"It's not just about looking good anymore or following trends —it's about embracing my individuality, expressing my personality, and celebrating what makes me unique. Today, fashion and beauty are a medium through which I can express myself, my emotional canvas, and my state of mind".

Bhumi has been trolled for her fashion choices, but that didn't let her step back

Many fans have admired Bhumi Pednekar's fashion choices and ability to experiment. However, some trolls have criticised her for unique fashion choices and bold outfits. As a result, Bhumi's fashion choices are usually a subject of debate on the internet. She spoke at length on the trolling during an old interview with News18, where she said that trolls often find reasons to target individuals, irrespective of their actions. As a result, she has strengthened her resolve, making her impervious to such negative comments.
