Television actress, Bhumika Gurung had become a sensation with her famous show, Nimki Mukhiya. It was on March 8, 2022, when the beautiful actress had begun her forever journey with restaurateur, Shekhar Malhotra in a Gurudwara in the presence of close friends and family. And since then, we have been witnessing adorable glimpses from their marital bliss.
For her wedding, Bhumika had looked gorgeous in an olive-green coloured lehenga, which was heavily embellished with stonework, paired with a matching dupatta and a choli. She had accentuated her look with stone studded jewellery, including a choker, a long neckpiece, bangles, matching earrings and a nath. On the other hand, her groom, Shekhar had complemented her in a heavily embellished bandhgala suit paired with a green turban and a doshala.

On March 24, 2022, Bhumika took to her IG handle and shared pictures from her wedding reception. In the pictures, Bhumika looked stunning as she donned a peach-coloured lehenga and accessorised her look with a diamond necklace, matching earrings and dainty mangalsutra.

On the other hand, her hubby, Shekhar Malhotra complemented her in a shimmery black coat, which he paired with a black shirt and pants. Posing with their close friends, Bhumika and Shekhar looked adorable, and the happiness on their faces was unmissable. Bhumika captioned the pictures as "Reception 8.03.2022."

In an exclusive conversation with the BollywoodShaadis Team, Bhumika Gurung had opened up about her love story with her hubby, Shekhar. Talking about how she had met her then-boyfriend, Shekhar, and how love had blossomed between them, the actress had said:
“We had known each other for almost 3 years before we got married. However, we didn't interact much. Our conversation started in November 2020, and during our interaction with each other, we realized that there is a lot of compatibility between us. And, after dating for almost a year, we got married and it has been the best decision."
Bhumika had chosen a unique coloured ensemble for her special day and had looked breathtaking. In the same interview, the actress had described her lehenga story and shared how she had selected her wedding dress. Sharing that her lehenga had weighed 20 kgs, Bhumika had stated:
“Most brides choose pink and red lehenga. I was thinking about this too, but I love pastel colours, so I opted for a unique colour instead of choosing those colours. I went for trials and saw many lehengas. When I saw this lehenga, I selected it, as it was very unique and cute. Shekhar's dress was also finalized according to my outfit. My lehenga was about 20 kg, which had heavy silver embroidery."
On March 6, 2022, Bhumika's wedding festivities had begun with shagun ki haldi, and pictures, the then bride-to-be, Bhumika had looked gorgeous at her haldi ceremony. She had donned a yellow-coloured ruffle sharara and had paired it with a noodle-strapped flared kurta. She had teamed her look with patterned floral earrings and a maang teeka and had kept her makeup neutral.
