'Bigg Boss 19' Contestant Updates: Lataa Saberwal Approached For The Show After Divorce?

Sanjeev Seth and Lataa Saberwal are two of the most familiar faces of the Indian TV industry. Both of them played the role of a couple in the popular series, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. After a year of playing an on-screen couple, Lataa and Sanjeev became real-life husband and wife. However, after 15 years of marriage, Lataa announced their divorce on her social media handle. As per reports, after her divorce announcement, the actress has been approached to participate in the controversial show, Bigg Boss 19. 

Lataa Saberwal to reportedly join Bigg Boss 19

Several celebrities' names have been floated as potential Bigg Boss 19 contestants. The most recent name to join this list is that of Lataa Saberwal, who recently garnered considerable attention after announcing her split from her husband of 15 years, Sanjeev Seth. The ex-couple starred as husband and wife in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and were co-stars of Hina Khan on the show. As per a report by Filmibeat, after the divorce announcement, makers of Bigg Boss reached out to Lataa to join the show. Sources close to the portal said that talks are going on between both parties right now. 

More about Bigg Boss 19 

According to a report by the insider informant page on X, Bigg Boss Tak, the upcoming Bigg Boss 19 is set to premiere on TV screens in August 2025. The page says that this information is 'confirmed'. The information also suggests that the makers will first run the TV version for three and a half months. The OTT version will follow later. For previous seasons of Bigg Boss, the OTT show comes first, followed by the TV version. Salman Khan is also expected to start shooting for the Bigg Boss 19 promo in July 2025.

More actors rumoured to be approached for Bigg Boss 19 

The show makers want to reportedly bring in only popular Bollywood and TV personalities to Bigg Boss 19. However, as per OTT Play, fitness influencer Arhan Ansari has been approached for the season. Moon Banerjee, who is one of the most familiar faces in the TV industry, might join the show as well. There are reports that Neel Motwani, who has acted in shows like Kumkum Bhagya and Waaris, has also been approached by the makers. None of these celebrities have confirmed or denied any of the rumours. 

Apart from them, Bollywood actress and Salman Khan's Jai Ho co-star, Daisy Shah has also been approached by the makers of Bigg Boss. Sevral other popular names, such as that of Sharad Malhotra and Shashank Vyas are also floating around as potential contestants. Amid this two celebrities have confirmed whether they will be joining the show or not. One of them is Ram Kapoor, who vehemently denied ever entering the Bigg Boss house. Meanwhile, Khushi Dubey of Aashiqana revealed that she has been approached to participate in Bigg Boss, and talks are ongoing.
