As recently as a report from an insider revealed that the BB anthem will no longer be played in the morning; rather, the contestants would have to wake up dancing to the beats of high-pitched songs. Well, amid the excitement, there was a rumour that Gaurav Khanna might be one of the highest-paid actors of Bigg Boss 19, and he now, reacted to the same.

Gaurav Khanna talks about the reason he decided to be a part of Bigg Boss 19

Gaurav Khanna recently sat for an interview with India Today, wherein he talked about his decision to do Bigg Boss 19. Gaurav said that it was nothing about how he has been throughout his career, but more about proving to himself and others that he could be a part of a reality show, so that people won't point a finger at him and say that he is here only for fame. He said that he has been doing really well in his career, and he is taking things forward.

Gaurav also said that by taking part in this reality show, he wanted to challenge his younger self, who came to Mumbai to do something, and he wants to find that person through his Bigg Boss journey. Gaurav could be quoted as saying:

"By God's grace, I have worked and won people's love. I am doing pretty well in my career and will only take things forward. I also wanted to challenge myself and find the young Gaurav, who stepped into Mumbai many years ago. I want to find him through the show; I want to know if he's still there."

In the same interview, Gaurav Khanna addressed the buzz about him being the highest-paid actor on the show. The actor said there might be chances that it's not true or even vice versa. Having said that, Gaurav shared that he, as an actor, never judges someone of the same profession based on their salaries.

Gaurav mentioned that, as an actor, what matters most is the value that the person brings to the audience. He also shared that he doesn't have any idea about the contestants, and they actually don't discuss money, so no matter what the speculations have been suggesting, his aim is to do well in the series. Gaurav shared:

"It can be a rumour, or maybe not. People say a lot of things, and I don't believe in hearsay. Also, I never judge an actor by the pay cheque he or she gets. It's all about what you get on the table. I don't even know who the contestants are, and we also don't discuss money. So people can say whatever they want to say. My aim is to just do well in this season."

Gaurav won hearts with his stint on the cooking show, Celebrity MasterChef. He was also involved in a controversy regarding copying a Swiss chef's dessert. Well, beating all the odds, Gaurav won. And as he is now a part of Bigg Boss 19, his fans want nothing much than his A-Game in the show.
