'Bigg Boss 19's Malti Takes A Dig At Tanya Mittal For Her 'Sanskaari' Image, 'Mini Skirts Mein..'

Bigg Boss, the reality show hosted by Salman Khan, has become a fan favourite. However, this season the high-octane drama and the ugly fights have been the USP of the show. Every contestant is giving their best in their own way. But it is Tanya Mittal and Malti Chahar’s conflict that has become a major highlight of Bigg Boss 19. In a new promo, Malti slammed the spiritual influencer for her 'sati savitri' image in front of the housemates. However, a comment made by Malti on Tanya’s outfit didn’t sit well with the netizens.

Malti Chahar takes a direct dig at Tanya Mittal for portraying a dual image

In a recently released promo of Bigg Boss 19, Malti Chahar was seen gossiping with her fellow contestants, Abhishek Bajaj and Ashnoor Kaur, about Tanya Mittal, a spiritual influencer. Malti claimed that the image that Tanya portrays inside the house is way different from reality. She then asked Abhishek what they think about Tanya. In response, Abhishek said, "Wo saree pehenti hai. She is very sanskaari." Sharing a contradictory answer, Malti said that they know only one side of the influencer. She was quoted as saying:

"The way she portrays herself is entirely different. Mini skirts mein bhi videos hain iske."

Hearing Malti’s answer, Ashnoor Kaur and Abhishek Bajaj looked shocked. In fact, Kunickaa Sadanand, Neelam Giri, and other housemates were listening to what Malti was saying. Malti further added that there was a reel, where the spiritual influencer was wearing a petticoat without wearing a blouse. She then explained why Tanya has become meme material. Slamming Tanya, Malti said:

"Samajh aa raha hai? Ki wo meme material kyu hai? Kyunki wo kehti kuch aur hai, hai kuch aur. So she is a player."

Netizens' reaction to the promo

Soon after the promo surfaced on the internet, netizens rushed to the comment section. A user wrote, "Malti knows only this way to play the game or what? Shaming women for their clothes all the time?" Another user commented, "Not happy the way Malti exposes Tanya.... She is right or she is wrong.. Malti is doing wrong exposing in front of boys is so wrong... Being a girl insulting another girl on dress.... Chiii malti chiiii... Just waiting for WKV." Pointing out that Malti is targeting Tanya, a user wrote, "Ye Amaal se rejection seh nahi payi hai...group people choose Tanya over her..isiliye ab zeher ugal rahi hai and clearly she targeting Tanya."

It is worth mentioning that a few days back, Tanya and Malti had bonded over cricket, but the constant tussle has made Tanya Malti’s biggest competitor. A user commented, "Can this witch be thrown out? She was literally getting close to #TanyaMittal last week! And now again started her dhandha of portraying hatred for her!" Another user wrote, "Shame on you, Malti. This is wrong on so many levels. How can someone be so low to link a person's character to their clothes?"

When Tanya Mittal opened up about Malti Chahar's intrusive nature

In a recent episode of BB 19, Tanya opened up about Malti Chahar's intrusive nature to fellow contestants, Amaal Mallik and Shehbaz Badesha. Tanya shared that when Neelam broke down as her family letter was shredded by Farrhana Bhatt during the captaincy task, she wanted to hug Neelam and console her. However, Malti interrupted her and came in between and tried to comfort heartbroken Neelam. The spiritual influencer later claimed that Malti had entered the show just to get footage.
