While she entered the show mid-season as a wild card entrant, she won hearts with her confidence and smart gameplay. Vijay Sethupathi declared Divya as the winner. She lifted the trophy and also took home Rs. 50 lakhs, as reported by Filmibeat.

In a recent episode of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 9, 'Bigg Boss' surprised Divya Ganesh with a montage featuring her journey inside the BB Tamil 9 house. The special video showcased Divya’s happiest moments, intense conflicts, heartfelt friendships, emotional breakdowns, and how she evolved as a person. Watching the clip, the winner became emotional. After the video ended, 'Bigg Boss' instructed Divya to go to the garden area. When she reached the garden area, she got the biggest surprise from 'Bigg Boss'. A special message from 'Bigg Boss' made her overwhelmed. When 'Bigg Boss' said, "You win my heart" to Divya, she broke down in tears. Recalling her journey, Divya said:

"This stage has taught me so many things."

Who is Bigg Boss Tamil 9 winner, Divya Ganesh?

Divya Ganesh was born and raised in Tamil Nadu’s Ramanathapuram. She loved acting from a very young age and later showed interest in both modelling and acting. After completing her education, Divya began her journey in the entertainment world and established her foothold in the industry through her immense dedication, hardwork and talent. In 2015, Divya made her acting debut with the Tamil serial, Keladi Kanmani. She later appeared in many Tamil serials, including Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa and Lakshmi Vandhachu. She shared screen space with popular actress, Vani Bhojan in the Tamil soap opera, Lakshmi Vandhachu.

Divya received widespread recognition for her performances in Tamil serials, like Sumangali, Baakiyalakshmi, and Chellamma. Later, in 2019, she made her Telugu TV debut with the serial, Bhagyarekha. She gained a lot of fame with her stance in the show, Bigg Boss Tamil 9 house. It is noteworthy to mention that Divya was a wild card entrant and one of the most-talked-about contestants of this season. She also served as the fourth captain in the house.

Coming to her personal life, Divya is currently single. According to a 2022 News18 report, she was engaged to a famous producer, but later it was called off. However, the reason behind calling off the engagement was not revealed. Later, in 2022, when Divya’s fans asked her about her marriage plan, she shared that she would soon get married.
