Anant Ambani, the billionaire scion of Nita and Mukesh Ambani, rang in his 30th birthday recently, and his well-wishers are making sure to keep him smiling. We recently stumbled upon a heartwarming moment that captured the youngest Ambani son cutting a birthday cake, surrounded not by celebs but by his loyal team of security guards. The moment won the praise of netizens for the billionaire’s simplicity and warmth.

Security guards arrange heartwarming birthday surprise for Anant Ambani

A while ago, the Instagram page, Ambani Updates shared a short video clip that has drawn people’s attention. In the video, the youngest Ambani son was seen beaming as his team of security cheered him on and shared the sweet moment with him. Dressed in a black silk kurta pyjama, the birthday boy was all smiles as his security guards gifted him a flower bouquet and carried a two-tiered cake. For someone born into India’s richest family, it’s a rare display of groundedness that has struck a chord online.

Anant Ambani’s 170 km spiritual walk to the Dwarkadhish temple

While entering his thirties is a personal milestone in itself, for Anant Ambani, this birthday was extra special. What made it even more significant was the spiritual journey he took ahead of the celebration. Anant, deeply connected to the spiritual side, had always wished to visit the sacred Dwarkadhish temple in Gujarat by walking from his ancestral city, Jamnagar. Ahead of his 30th birthday, he completed his wish by undertaking the 170-kilometre padayatra. 

Anant started his pilgrimage from Jamnagar on March 29, 2025, and completed it on April 8, 2025, just in time for his birthday. After reaching the Dwarkadhish temple, Anant said in a statement to ANI:

“See, it's my own spiritual journey. I started this by taking the name of God and will end it by taking His name.”

Anant was joined by his mother, Nita Ambani and wife, Radhika Merchant, on the final day of his walk to the Dwarkadhish temple. Both Nita and Radhika beamed with pride at Anant’s successful padyatra despite his health complications. During a media interaction, Radhika said:

“Anant ki iccha thi ki shaadi ke baad vo chal ke aayege humare ghar se Jamnagar se, aur bahut saal yeh iccha thi. Koi saal nahi ho paaya. Or is saal unhone apna mann laga kar yeh kar dikhaya mujhe bahut garv hai inpe ki aaj hum inka birthday Shree Dwarikadish ke saath celebrate kar rahe hai. Thank you everybody, aur jo bhi ghar se inko yeh dua dete rahe ki unka padayatra safal ho unko bhi humari taraf se thank you very much.”

Anant Ambani’s former nanny’s emotional birthday wish

Among the many birthday messages Anant received, one stood out. Lalita Dsilva, his former nanny, posted a throwback photo of little Anant dressed in traditional attire, wearing a tiny Indian flag on his chest. Alongside the photo, Lalita penned an emotional note that read:

“Wishing my Anant very very happy birthday. God bless him. My Anant is very big now. The way he loves animals, truly admire. Love u, Anant, for ur hard work towards animal safety. Enjoy your day, have lovely birthday. Best wishes. Regards.”
