Television actress, Dipika Kakar Ibrahim had said 'qubool hai' to Shoaib Ibrahim on February 22, 2018. Since then, she is living her 'happily ever after' with the man of her dreams and her in-laws. Dipika's love for her in-laws is an inspiration for all the bahus out there. She is not just a loving wife, but also a perfect daughter-in-law. Earlier, in an interview with The Times of India, the actress had shared that she is a lot more close to her ammi.
The actress had said, "Coming from a small town, even his parents never let me feel that. I have always longed for family. Ammi sends dabba for me when my mother is not there. I feel I am more close to his mom than him. Everything is positive and we are more at peace now."
On the occasion of Mother's Day 2020, Dipika had penned a heartfelt note for her ammi. In her long note, she had shared the reason why her mother doesn't worry for her much, and had written, "Yess! I'm blessed to have these two pillars of strength in my life! One has given me birth, always been a companion in every phase of life!! Mumma you’ve been my best friend in true sense we’ve faught, laughed, our bike rides and ofcourse our cooking. And Ammi she is the one jinki wajah se mere mummy ko meri fikr nahi hoti kyunki Meri Ammi mujhe Itnaaaaaa pyaar karti hain!!! Thank you Ammi I'm proud to be your daughter, coz that's how u treat me, in-law to naam ka hai, Your existence makes my life so beautiful. Happy Mothers day to my two pillars Ammi & Mummy And to all the lovely mothers, who love their kids no matter what!"
