Last time, it was Vivah actress Amrita Rao who secretly tied the knot with RJ Anmol in a private ceremony and this time, Badtameez Dil hit maker, Benny Dayal tied the knot with his model-actress girlfriend, Catherine Thangam in Bangalore.

According to sources, a grand reception will be held in Kerala soon.
Bollywood’s popular music composer Vishal Dadlani who shares a close friendship with Benny made it to the wedding and shared the newlywed couple’s photo on his Twitter captioned:
You guys are beautiful, @Benny_Dayal and @catherinethangam! Much love and joy, always! :).
According to a leading tabloid, it all started when one of Catherine’s friends who worked with Benny in 2010 told her what an amazing guy Benny was and she should seriously consider him.

Catherine was a bit reluctant about the idea since she stayed in New York and Benny was here in India. But, soon she agreed to give it a shot. The couple spoke for 6 months, followed by cute surprises, and then finally the engagement in October 2015.

After 6 months of knowing each other and staying in touch through Whatsapp and Facetime, the couple finally got engaged in October 2015.
Catherine researched quite a bit for their Fall Vintage themed engagement. The couple used shades of pink, golden, dark blue and green for their engagement and even had a cute little guestbooks for the invitees.

At the wedding, Benny Dayal looked simple yet elegant in a crisp white dhoti teamed with a kurta while the bride dazzled everyone in a nude colour intricately embellished saree. The couple looked ecstatic and so were their friends.
