Boney Kapoor is a renowned filmmaker in the Indian film industry. He is popular for his exceptional performances in many films, including Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai, Mom, Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe, Mr. India, Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, among others. However, he has repeatedly become the target of trolls for his public gestures, and this time was no different.
On April 9, 2024, Boney Kapoor hosted a special screening of his latest production, Maidaan. For the event, the filmmaker opted for a blue-hued kurta-pyjama paired with a matching Nehru coat. In one of the videos, he was seen posing with actress, Priyamani, who looked stunning in a saree. However, what caught everyone's attention was that Boney was holding the actress by her waist and then placed his hand on her shoulder. Later, he was seen holding her inappropriately, making her visibly uncomfortable.

However, Boney Kapoor's gesture didn't go down well with the netizens, who slammed him for it. A user commented, "Someone as well known and powerful as Priyamani has to endure this creepy man's disgusting behaviour. I cant even imagine how he must be behaving with young and upcoming actresses." Another penned, "Imagine having 2 young daughters and being such a creep. It’s such a shame."

Well, this is not the first time that Boney Kapoor has received the flak of the netizens for his inappropriate behaviour. Back in 2019, he was seen posing with Urvashi Rautela at a wedding reception. The duo was apparently having a conversation when Boney tapped Urvashi's back. Though people found it inappropriate and vulgar, Urvashi looked happy and she continued to smile throughout the photo-op session. However, Boney was brutally slammed for inappropriately touching Urvashi in public.
In March 2024, Boney Kapoor attended the inauguration of a hair transplant clinic in Hyderabad and underwent surgery for hair transformation there. In a video that surfaced online, the producer was seen sharing his experience of a hair transplant and showing his transformation process. He said:
“Sarr mera dhak jaega, baalon se bhar jaega, baal ugenge, kya baat hai. Mera baal wapis aana Eugenix ke liye challenge hai. And I am sure they will do justice to it. Abhi tak toh experience acha raha hai. Abhi dekhte hai yeh jo baal inhone lagaye hai mere sarr pe, kitna help karega mujhe ek better looking insaan banane mai.”
