Boxer Neeraj Goyat Replaces Asim Riaz On 'Battleground', Gets Into Heated Argument With Rajat Dalal

Asim Riaz has been hitting the headlines for a long time for all the negative reasons. For the unversed, Asim was thrown out of the show, Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, after his aggressive behaviour with his co-contestants and Rohit Shetty last year. Following the same, he appeared on the show, Battleground, and he was also reportedly thrown out of the show for his behaviour post his fight with Abhishek Malhan and Rubina Dilaik. Now, as Asim left the show, boxer, Neeraj Goyat replaced him.

Asim Riaz was reportedly kicked out of the show, Battleground, following his massive clash with Abhishek Malhan and Rubina Dilaik. Later, he said that it was him, who kicked the show, which roughly meant that he was the one to walk out of the show. While it's not confirmed yet, in a recent promo, the host announced Asim Riaz had quit the show. Following this, a man entered with his hoodie on, leaving everyone guessing his identity. Later, it was revealed that it was Bigg Boss 3 contestant and boxer, Neeraj Goyat who replaced Asim on the fitness-based show.

Neeraj Goyat and Rajat Dalal caught up in a heated verbal argument

Upon his arrival on the show, Rubina Dilaik asked Neeraj Goyat if he was the one to challenge Abhishek Malhan and Rajat Dalal. To this, Rajat hit back at Neeraj and said that he could just slap to make someone faint, and he doesn't need any boxing for the same. To this, Neeraj said that it would take him one minute to make Rajat lose. Rajat again hit back at Neeraj and challenged him. The verbal fight continued to escalate, and it was about to turn physical. Rajat, in a challenging tone, told Neeraj:

"Aapko itna bhoot hai na, toh main utar ke bhej sakta hoon. Bhai, ucchal gaya toh sir pe pata nahi kya kya rakh sakta hoon wahan pe."

Why Asim Riaz was thrown out of the show, Battleground?

In an interview with Instant Bollywood, Vishal Singh revealed what actually happened on the Battleground when Asim Riaz was thrown out of the show. He mentioned that Asim and Abhishek had a fight, and following this, the former was giving the latter open threats, thinking he had no one in Mumbai. Later, the shoot was paused, and Abhishek told the makers that they would have to select between him and Asim to be on the show. Well, the makers of Battleground chose Abhishek over Asim, and threw the latter out of the show.

While being on the show, Rubina Dilaik was insulted by Asim Riaz, who asked what was she doing on a fitness-based show. Following this, Rubina's husband, Abhinav Shukla was asked about Asim's behaviour. To this, Abhinav revealed that Asim is brainless. Later, he and the actress were given open death threats by the rapper's fans. While Rubina and Abhinav hit back at them, Asim called it a 'WhatsApp group drama'.
