Bride Wore Her Mother's 'Dupatta' For Bangle Ceremony And Flaunted An Open-Back 'Choli' For Wedding

Being a bride is all about living the best days of your 'Miss-to-Mrs' journey. From enjoying the process of finding the perfect wedding day dress to counting days until you get married. The long wait, hopping shops to arrange the bridal trousseau to whatnot, the process of getting married is not easy, but it is all worth it. Once the wedding gala is over and you revisit the memories, you will not regret a single moment.

While the pandemic had turned the grand Indian weddings into an intimate affair, it has not dropped the zeal of brides to wear unique ensembles on their big day. Nowadays, we often spot brides wearing their mother's wedding day saree to revamping their heirloom jewellery. And the bride of the week had left our jaws dropped with her stylish looks.

The bride donned her mother's wedding day dupatta for her bangle ceremony

Meet the bride of the week, Dr Nimrata Kaur, who had tied the knot with Bikram Kahlon in an intimate wedding in Patiala, Punjab. As young girls, we all were fascinated with our mother's dupatta, and Nimrata was no different. And this is the reason why Nimrata had opted for her mother's wedding day dupatta for her bangle ceremony.

The bride had worn a silk fuchsia fish cut lehenga with a long-sleeved Kedia-pattern blouse with her mother's heavily embroidered dupatta. She had styled her look with a choker neckpiece, a maang teeka, a passa and a pair of matching earrings. Subtle makeup with lined eyes and nude lips accentuated her look.

The bride donned a silver-hued gown for engagement

For her engagement ceremony, the bride had looked gorgeous in a silver-coloured flared gown. The bride had kept her look minimal with a silver neckpiece and a watch. Her makeup artist had accentuated her look with dewy sheen makeup, softly lined eyes and brown lips. 

The bride's engagement look was finished off with a silver headband. Her photographer, Razz Nischal had beautifully captured her special day.

The bride had donned blue-coloured sharara for her Anand Karaj ceremony

For the Anand Karaj ceremony, the bride had worn a blue-coloured sharara with golden zari embroidery. She had looked pretty in a choker neckpiece, a maang teeka, a passa in polki with red-hued drops. Her wedding day look was accentuated with pink blush, highlighted cheeks and soft brown eyes. 

Bride had opted for an open-back blouse for wedding dinner

For the wedding dinner, the bride had changed into a gorgeous red-coloured lehenga with heavy golden embroidery and a blue-hued border. Her lehenga had featured a skirt with matching choli. However, it was the open-back design of the choli that had made her look stand out.
