Gone are the days when a bride needed to wear the heaviest lehenga with intricate embroidery to stand out in the crowd. Nowadays, the brides are following their hearts calling and opting for ensembles that they feel comfortable in. After all, a bride's ensemble is the biggest treasure of her life. Wedding fashion has evolved, and it is not just about donning an expensive designer or wearing a unique-coloured lehenga, but it is more about wearing a piece that holds a lot of sentiments.

The bride of the week, Suvanya, had tied the knot with the love of her life, Aman Kalra in an intimate wedding ceremony in Rajasthan. However, it was the design story behind her wedding lehenga that etched our hearts. The gorgeous bride had worn a plain red lehenga from designer, Sunaina Khera. But the best part of her entire outfit was her dupatta.
The bride had got a handwritten letter from her late father on her last birthday. And to feel his presence on the biggest day of her life, she had got excerpts from his letter embroidered on her dupatta. It had beautifully accentuated her look. The bride had also shared the picture of her late father's letter on her IG handle. She had definitely left us emotional by adding this special gesture of love from her late father to her wedding day outfit.

Another highlight of the bride's look was that she had ditched the heavy bridal jewellery. She had not even worn a maang teeka or a nath on the biggest day of her life. Her makeup artist, Naro Lemtur, had kept her look subtle with nude lipstick, perfectly lined eyes, a small bindi and her hair tied in a bun with real flowers adornment. On the other hand, her groom had worn a cream-coloured sherwani with a matching doshala.
We love the bride's beautiful red lehenga and the way she had given an ode to her daddy on the biggest day of her life.
