Bride's MIL And SIL Dresses Up In Bridal Ensembles, Netizens Say, 'Tum Hi Krlo Bhai Shaadi...'

For brides, their wedding is one of the most important days of their lives. They choose every little detail with utmost care and thought, and when it comes to their bridal lehenga, our brides turn over every store in search of their perfect attires. However, what will happen if the dulhan's own family attempts to upstage her?

Bride's nanad and saas dress up in bridal attire 

A picture was shared on the discussion platform, Reddit, which showed a mother-in-law and sister-in-law decked up in bridal attires, posing with the bride. The bride sat on a chair dressed in a beautiful red lehenga with intricate embroidery. On the other hand, the mother-in-law donned a deep red lehenga with heavy zari work.

The sister-in-law, on the other hand, wore a cool brown-toned lehenga with intricate work all over. Both the saas and nanad adorned heavy jewellery, which made them look like brides themselves. While the picture was captioned, "Go get yourself a saas and nanad like mine." Netizens were left unpleased by the choice of the bride's in-law's attires.

The post was shared on the discussion platform, Reddit with the caption, "For a minute I was confused who is the bride. Go get yourself a saas who does not wear 'shadi ka joda' at your wedding, and not an attention-seeker saas." As soon as the post was shared, netizens started to chime in and share their dismay. A user wrote, "I would be pissed if I were the bride. Like tum hi krlo bhai shaadi." Another penned:

"Sis-in-law looks fine, but what's up with the saas?! I get re-wearing ur wedding lehenga, but the veil and the jewellery are just outrageous; if I saw this woman alone, then I'd definitely think that she's either the bride or trying to upstage her. The bride doesn't really seem to have any issues with it, but still, it's too much."

A user stated, "Nanad's dress is still fine. At least it's not red. But why the hell mother in law is it wearing a red bridal lehenga? Just imagine what she is going to do to the bride later on. She is competing for attention with her daughter-in-law. Pathetic behaviour." Another user penned, "Kabhi life me mujhe aisi saas or nanad na mile bhai." A Redditor said, "I feel so sorry for the bride. I thought only the Nanad was trying to outshine her, but clearly, the saas did the same thing. Just Eww." A user in a long note penned:

"Just because Indian weddings me there's nothing like overdressed, doesn't mean you'll straight up wear your bridal lehenga and expect ki 'dulhan ka glow alag hota hai' meri pr kissi ne aise kiya to I am definitely throwing hands."
