Bride Steals The Show With A 'Mogra' Veil For 'Haldi' Ditches Yellow Hue And Stuns In Peach Outfit

An Indian wedding has an age-old tradition of using flowers in everything possible. Where weddings have seen a downfall in the conventional usage of flowers, floral accessories have been at an all-time high. Indeed! Flowers add to the beauty of the bride, they are also considered the purest symbol of love. That is why we spotted this unique usage of flowers. We couldn't gatekeep it.

Bride dazzles the internet with the mogra veil for her Haldi

Makeup artist, Shradha Luthra shared a video of her client and bride, Khushboo Chugh, who amazed the internet with her unique floral veil. The bride opted for a floral veil for her haldi ceremony and even ditched the common yellow theme for her big day. She had pinned the long strings of mogra flowers to her hair, giving her an earthy, gorgeous look.

The bride ditched yellow and stunned in a peachy gown

The bride donned a peach and golden corsetted gown with a net cape for the ceremony. While the gown had beautiful golden and peachy-pink panels in the skirt, giving it the old Victorian glam, the net cape incorporated a golden border and rhinestones, adding the right amount of oomph to it. The bride paired the look with traditional jewellery, including a necklace, earrings with chains, a maang teeka, a few rings and a haath phool. She also gave us a glimpse of her minimal henna design. For the glam, the bride chose a dewy look with filled-in eyebrows, blush, shimmery eyeshadow and a pink lip.

Bride's floral dupatta

Bride's mogra veil reminded us of Radhika Merchant's haldi ensemble from 2024. The fresh touch of gendas and tagar kalis added stars to her looks, giving the brides inspiration to do something unique with their florals. The same inspiration has continued into 2025, and our brides are still finding new ways to style flowers to complement their looks. Radhika complemented her look with dainty flower jewellery, a choker neckpiece, matching earrings, and a haath phool. These were all made from mogra buds.

A black bindi and half-tied hair completed her look for the haldi. For the unversed, it was reported that Floral Art Design Studio designed the Ambani bahu's floral dupatta and took over 90 marigolds and thousands of tagar kalis. Talking about the same, the founder of the design studio, Srishti Kapur, had shared with News18:

"Radhika's accompanying jewellery, crafted from fresh white Tagar Kalis, yellow button daisy and Thai rui flower, included earrings, tops adorned with tassel strings, a double necklace, haath phool, and floral Kaleeras, all designed to complement the floral theme perfectly.Crafting Radhika’s Fresh Floral Tagar Jaal Dupatta was a labour of love and artistry. Each flower was meticulously arranged to create a seamless cascade of tagar kalis and genda blooms, embodying timeless elegance and natural beauty. It required an entire night and our entire team of artisans to bring Rhea and Radhika’s vision to life. It was undoubtedly the most challenging yet exhilarating 24 hours for us."
