Weddings in India are a union of two souls, who promise to be each other's forever, life partners. The moment the wedding date gets fixed, the bride and groom start planning every teeny-tiny detail of it. And no pandemic can stop a couple from tying the knot. In fact, the regulation of 50 people had given many brides and grooms, an opportunity to plan their dream of having an intimate wedding, which was earlier next to impossible.
The moment we talk about an Indian bride, the first picture, which flashes in our mind, is of a young girl. The one, who is decked in a gorgeous red lehenga with flawless makeup, heavy jewellery and a glistening smile as she walks in the phoolon ki chaddar to unite with her 'mister right'. However, over the years, brides have started donning unique-coloured lehengas for their D-day.

Meet our bride of the week, Devanshi, who had gotten married to Adit Dhruva in an intimate ceremony at JW Marriot in Mumbai. However, it was her wedding lehenga, which had left her groom shocked. The couple had a cute story behind the whole lehenga. The bride wanted to wear a gorgeous red lehenga for her wedding ceremony, but her groom wanted to see her in the shades of pastel.
So, to give a surprise to her groom, the bride had picked a gorgeous pastel lehenga from designer, Anamika Khanna's collection. Her outfit featured a pastel yellow, blue and purple-hued lehenga skirt with matching choli and a pistachio green dupatta. In addition, she had styled another pink-coloured dupatta with scallop detailing, which was pinned on her head.

The groom had the sweetest reaction after seeing his bride in his choice of lehenga. At the time of the bride's entry, the family covered the way using red dupattas. And the highlight of the video was the groom's reaction, as he gave a priceless reaction when he had looked at his bride donning a pastel lehenga. Check out the cute video and the groom's reaction:
