The pandemic has changed the way we look at Indian weddings. Earlier, an Indian wedding was celebrated like a grand festival. From long lost aunties to cousins, everyone was invited to be part of the new beginning of a couple. But now, weddings have turned into intimate affairs with close family and friends in attendance. There are many invitation cards that also mention the attendees to be fully vaccinated.
However, this has not dropped the bride and the groom's will of wearing the best ensemble for their special day. We have spotted brides donning their mother's saree for their shaadi to some brides wearing customised designers outfits. And we spotted a bride, who had left our jaws dropped by opting for Manish Malhotra lehenga for her Anand Karaj ceremony and a Sabyasachi Mukherjee ensemble for her 'vivaah sanskaar'.

The bride, Sarika Patel had tied the knot with her longtime beau, Balraj Matharu, in an intimate wedding in Miami, Florida. For the Anand Karaj ceremony, the bride had chosen a pastel green-hued lehenga from the ace designer, Manish Malhotra. However, the unique part of her ensemble was her skirt, which had a long trail. The ensemble was embroidered with beautiful pearl work and a sheer long veil.
The bride had accentuated her look with a statement neckpiece, a pair of matching chandbaalis, a maang teeka, chooda and kaleere. She had kept her look subtle with nude-toned makeup and hair tied in a bun. On the other hand, the groom had worn a brown-toned bandhgala ensemble. He had styled his outfit with a layered green-hued neckpiece, a sheer doshala and a turban.

For her vivaah sanskaar, the bride had donned a beautiful velvet lehenga from everyone's favourite designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Her lehenga had featured heavy golden zari embroidery. She had accessorised her look with a statement neckpiece, a satlada haar, a pair of jhumkis, a nath and a heavy matha patti. She had accentuated her look with dewy sheen makeup.
On the other hand, her groom had worn a kurta and a pair of pyjama with a golden floral embroidery bandhgala jacket over it. He had accentuated his look with a matching white doshala and a statement neckpiece.
We love the bride's look, but it was her Manish Malhotra's lehenga with a long trail that won our hearts!
