Celeb Brides Who Wore Sneakers On Their Wedding Festivities: Deepika Padukone To Hansika Motwani

So, sneakers give them a more relaxed and comfortable experience, helping them make the most of the day. 

#1. Rakul Preet Singh (embellished sneakers)

Rakul Preet Singh is an Indian actress who has appeared in popular films like De De Pyaar De, Cuttputlli, Doctor G, Thank God, etc. On February 21, 2024, she married her longtime boyfriend, Jackky Bhagnani, in an intimate wedding ceremony in Goa. Rakul wore the sneakers with style, and we couldn't be more impressed. Her white colour sneakers had small multicoloured detailing inspired by the wedding outfit that she paired with it. 

Post her D-Day, she shared pictures from her wedding festivities, wearing her sneakers. She wore unique, embellished, personalised and, comfy sneakers at her wedding festivities In one of the festivities, she wore a vibrant marine blue outfit with a pair of glittering purple sneakers with a small leaf pattern matching it. In another image, she wore sneakers with a lehenga. Moreover, she sported white-sneakers in one of her pictures, which seems to be after the wedding, where she was flaunting sindoor.

Making her debut with Hero, Athiya Shetty has been a part of films, including Mubarakan and Motichoor Chaknachoor, among others. She tied the knot with cricketer, KL Rahul in an intimate ceremony in 2023. The wedding ceremonies took place at her father, Suniel Shetty's farmhouse in Khandala. Athiya gave us several new bridal looks and sported new trends in stunning outfits for the various festivities. 

She wore a gorgeous Anamika Khanna lehenga at the wedding that took 10,000 hours to make. However, one fact that stood out was her chill vibes as a bride. Notably, in one of the pre-wedding festivities, the actress wore a gorgeous and fabulous ivory chikankari suit for her after-party. She paired the look with a blazer, corset top, and matching pants. It was a unique, one-of-a-kind custom ensemble that quickly became a topic of discussion with new brides taking lessons. Interestingly, it was paired with comfy sneakers, diamond hoop jhumkas, and a diamond ring. The matching ivory sneakers with the same design completed the stylish look. She danced with her groom and family, as wearing the sneakers gave her comfort and confidence. 

#3. Hansika Motwani (white sneakers)

The famous actress, Hansika Motwani is popular in Tamil and Telugu film industries. She got married to her longtime boyfriend, Sohail, in December 2022. It was a vibrant event in Mundota Fort and Palace, Jaipur, showcasing regal essence. 

The pictures from the pre-wedding festivities went viral quickly, and the online audience quickly admired the details. She wore colorful outfits, one after the other. But, her replacing heels with sneakers caught the audience's attention. The images were shared online, and she could be seen wearing personalised sneakers that matched her specific outfit for the night. In some pre-wedding festivities, she wore heels at her entry but soon changed them to sneakers for more comfort. 

#4. Deepika Padukone (white sneakers)

One of the most popular and highest-paid actresses in Bollywood, Deepika Padukone, got married to actor, Ranveer Singh on November 14 and 15, 2018, at Lake Como, Italy. The bride wasn't less than a slayer in all her wedding festivities, and their wedding images immediately became the only talk on the internet. 

Deepika wore a variety of looks, particularly at her receptions, and impressed us with all of them. Deepika and Ranveer hosted a star-filled reception for their industry friends in Mumbai on December 1, 2018. Deepika wore a detachable red gown with a veil by Zuhair Murad at the event. Initially, she wore a pair of stilettos while posing for the pictures. But, as the event went ahead, the actress wore a white pair of sneakers to roam and dance around freely at the function.

Rhea Kapoor is an stylist Indian producer, who has produced films like Veere Di Wedding. She is the daughter of actor, Anil Kapoor and sister, of Sonam Kapoor. Her wedding pictures went viral  when she got married to boyfriend, Karan Boolani in 2021. 

She has been a successful costume designer, for some of the biggest films in Bollywood. So, it was unsurprising when she wore a series of unique bridal looks at her wedding. Her sister, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja's husband, Anand Ahuja, shared the pictures of the then- bride wearing sneakers at her wedding. For one of her pre-wedding functions, we saw Rhea wearing a white tulle skirt with a red top and custom sneakers. It was a stylish look with a mix of ethnic and modern wear.

The well-known Bollywood singer, Neeti Mohan got married in 2019 to her boyfriend, Nihaar Pandya. She held a special bridal photo shoot with her three sisters and wore vibrant outfits for her pre-wedding festivities. At one of the functions, she wore a blue-coloured lehenga with matching sneakers. Neeti flaunted the footwear in her pre-bridal photoshoot and was admired by the fans.
