Recently a Reddit thread shared some popular celebs flaunting Dolly Jain’s drapes and their mesmerising looks were unbelievable. The drape artist has often shared that she knows 325 different styles of draping. From draping Deepika Padukone’s reception saree, Sonam’s mehendi look Alia Bhatt and Nayanthara’s wedding saree to many more, Dolly has done complete justice to all the looks.

As per various reports, it is stated that Dolly charges Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 2 lakhs for draping an attire. As soon as the pictures were shared, netizens hailed the celeb drape artist for her amazing work. Some stated that Dolly has no competitors as she is the best in the business, others couldn’t fathom that the artist earns such a handsome amount by just draping a piece of cloth.

Dolly Jain is the go-to person for any celeb to drape sarees or lehengas. But do you know, Dolly never liked wearing sarees! However, it was her mother-in-law’s decision never to let her wear anything else than a saree, which ignited her love for the ensemble. When the celeb drape artist appeared on the reality show, Indian Idol 13, she talked about her journey and shared:
“I got married into a household, where I had to wear a saree. I used to hate sarees. After marriage, I would take 45 mins to drape a saree everyday. I used to think everyday when my mother-in-law would allow me to wear a kurta instead of a saree. But she didn’t agree. By the time she agreed, I fell in love with sarees.”
Dolly Jain is a true inspiration to all the homemakers who dream of making it big one day.
